I think what you are talking about here (partly) is what Carl Jung called 'archetypes'; figures that appear in literature, art, etc throughout history which have a primal resonance in the human unconscious eternally (e.g The Hero, The Demon, etc) but crop up in different forms. I love how you refer to both the Ancient Greeks and superhero comics with maybe archetypes in mind? I've expressed my feelings and thoughts about your post very inarticulately here 😂!! I think it's the case everybody grows differently and at different rates. Even people in the same family living under the same roof aren't all the same. You have to be true to yourself first. And that means accepting your Likes/Dislikes, like everyone elses, will change over the end entire course of your life. Food you like now you may despise in five years, interests you have now you may look back on with disgust or humor or pride, and look, you're HUMAN. That means being allowed to change, to fail at some things, succeed at others, adopt this style, abandon that one, explore beliefs and no beliefs, be curious, get sick, be well, etc etc etc. If you aspire to be the best human version of yourself you can reasonably be, the kind of human YOU would respect, trust, hang out with or just generally feel comfortable around, and be gracious enough with yourself to accept what you cannot change and change that which you can, if you wish to. Don't be hard on yourself, iow. It's totally ok and normal and fine to change if the change is not undermining your daily quality of life or putting you in harms way. You're curious and i think you should just follow your curiosity and tastes in music and stuff just present it. Don't worry TOO much about what your subscribers think about YOUR taste, opinions, POV. You have to let them think whatever they want really. Just be yourself. :)

The important thing to keep on interpreting the world in your subjective experience of it, a bit like looking through a kaleidoscope and describing the changing colours in your own words, I guess.
