It's gonna be fire. They made a mini-series out of it in the early 80s, and James Clavell took every scene from a Japanese characters point of view out of it because he didn't think American viewers would understand it, and it was a still a huge event. Everyone who was a kid at the time remembers seeing heads flying (seppukku doesn't make sense to a typical American six-year-old). I recognize some of the little clips and either the scenes from the novel or the symbolism: Toranaga setting his falcon loose gives me chills.
