They were not selling out stadiums back then. they were playing theatres until every city of 40k or more decided they needed to build an arena. then they built the sheds so the bands could sell even more tickets and want to play there. When you do stadium tours that is the top of the world. Headlining them that is. That's all this band plays in now and not very often. Every few years to build the bank account back up. So the days of seeing these great rock bands in a room small enough to actual see the band with out giant video screens and or binoculars are over unless you catch them coming up or after they can't sell an arena out anymore. Greed has taken over the world. Many less concerts and a lot more people at each one because if you want to see them you have no choice. I stood on stage with ACDC back in 77 I think it was. Bon was there. Angus asked if he could get up in front of the statues in the theatre to play. My boss said I'll put a ladder up there for ya pal. lol So I blocked a couple fire escape doors open for him so he get to the balcony and play up there and get back down the fire escape stairs to the stage from the fire escape on the back of the building. UFO was on that bill also with Shenker. Yea, I was right there with them. I'm about their age. We had ball that day. I still work as a tech in that theatre. Just like these guys are still playing. We do what we love to do for a living and get paid for it. they get paid a lot more than I do but I make pretty good money. I have to disappear and turn the phone to DND to hide from work.

I wasnt into rock back then but i lived in chilwell about 10 miles from donington park and we could hear it...i remember asking whats that...and someone said its AC/DC at donington....❤️❤️❤️

AC/DC blew them off the stage during so-called SARS in Taranta. I wish they would blow all the fools who fell for the C-Word with endless booster shots given to the sheeple off a stage as well.
