A wonderful vocalist and talented pianist, recorded with a SSL-9000J console into a CLASP system (24-track, 30 IPS, on an Otari MTR90) into Pro Tools. Microphones: Vocal are captured by a Mojave MA-200 and a Cascade Vin-Jet. Piano miked with a SM57, U87, Perception 820 in omni pattern, and a pair of C414-XLS in wide cardioid pattern.

All sound was stripped from this commercial, and I did the sound effects and music. Most of the music is from a royalty-free music library. It was then chopped up into parts, and remixed. I added some violins, choirs, and harmonium. All sound effects are courtesy of myself, through either foley or sound design.

Met a fantastic guitar player, and we decided to do an "extended mic check" where we audition his new amp (a solid state amp) with his new guitar (Strat of some kind). Mic'ed the amp with my AKG 820 tube mic in Cardioid pattern, through my GAP Pre-73, into my MBOX3. Did you take officer training? Non-commissioned training made a point to never have unannounced tests; the idea being that it could erode future performance in an actual critical situation, as the soldiers might think the event is simply another test.

My childhood summed up in one video.
I want to use an audiotrack channel with the combinator patch, instead of instrument,, when I used the direct out of the audiotrack into the combinator direct in, and the combinator direct out, into a mix channel or a FX insert, I get an in and out signal on the mixer, but when I press a button on the combinator,, I dont hear any effect,, what am I doing wrong?
