What do you expect for a $15 razor, to live forever?

Man, you want a blade to shave 5 or 6 days? These de blades are cheap and intend to last 2 normal shaves.

Using shaving cream would help catch those hairs and drain out easier on the wash.

I get bad razor burn on my neck from these. I sadly bought 100 of them without trying first. My face still hurts a full day after shaving.

You must have had a dud. I absolutely love Gillette Platinum blades. For me, there are both smooth and sharp. Too bad your experience was different.

I shaved with one of these blades and it was outstanding. I have sensitive skin with coarse hair and I have 5 days Beard growth. Super close and left my face extremely comfortable even more than normal. I used it because I had not tried 1 in 6 years because I have so many others. I'm gonna be picking up a 100 pack soon.

Now is the problem the razor blades or the razor itself?

Respectfully disagree. This is my absolute favorite blade that I can put in every single one of my razors. The sharpness to smoothest quality is excellent. But thank you for your video I respect all opinions because what might work for me may not work for someone else and vice versa.

My thoughts yes I did get bumps from these as well I also made it to 6th shave. These are thee dullest blades on the market followed by Big Ben.

I have sensitive skin and I need to shave as often as possible without skipping more than a day and these are the BEST blades I’ve ever used they’re so smooth and they give me the closest cute with no nicks and cuts. Gillette Wilkinson swords in 2nd and Astra Blue in 3rd if anyone else suffers from sensitive skin

My own story is quite different. I recently bought an Edwin Jagger 3one6 stainless steel razor. I tried a few different blades in it. By the way I shave every two days. Personna Med Prep, possibly the closest shave I have had since starting DE blade shaving last August. However, I had a slice cut mid chin and three other persistent weepers around the chin. Next blade was a Gillette Platinum blade, my current favourite across the three other razors I have, two of which are slants and one adjustable. Also a close shave with the Gillette, no new cuts, but also general sting with the alum block and like the Personna a bit tuggy on the point of my chin. The 3one6 comes with 5 Feather blades, so I though well maybe thats the blade best suited to it. Following that shave I very regrettably felt the 3one6 was just not for me. Again a few weepers around my chin and some redness irritation. Applying alum block was not pleasant following all those shaves and I was thinking of selling the razor. This morning I tried a Voskhod (not coated version), which I had recently bought 25 of to try out, and best shave yet with the 3one6 from the aspect of comfort, and closeness is as good as the others. My faith is restored in the razor and I will not be selling. I have ordered 200 Voskhod, and some Parker blades also to try in it and I already have others to try as well. I really had given up on the razor and now I am so glad I didn't. People and razors are different.

After using many other blades they are my first choice for use in my 1962 Gillette Slim Adjustable but only when set for one of the more aggressive settings.

They are pretty good until I had to shave the mustache hair, it was painful the amount of tug required for it to cut the mustache hair, I put in a new blade just for the mustache hair but the same painful tugging. I have very course hair, the Astra green are perfect balance of sharp and smooth for my hair

Nice review sir! Thursdays were my starting spot in the world of boots. Next, go for a pair of Grant Stones, Red Wing or Truman’s. Well worth the bump in price as all of them offer significantly higher quality.

I think adjustable mechanism is meant for men who are switching over to safety razors from the now more common 4 and 5 blade razors. Switching over to a safety blade razor is a completely different shaving experience and it was a big adjustment for me at first. The first time I used a safety razor, it took a lot more time to shave my face and I nicked my face quite a bit in the process.

I need to hold 3 shaves to have a normal shave with Rapira, BUT I have a adjustable safety razor, and it works better, if I dont do this, for sure my face will be like a face that was devastated by a rapira canon, but a smooth one 😂

Your reviewed for us the BLADE and not the razor, in this video. Finding how to open the flap was tricky, but I may try to make a little video demonstrating how. There are a few blades not easily found online but easy enough to find in some local retail stores . And then there are a very great many blades not at all found in local retail stores but found easily in some online stores. These VDH blades you will find in Walmart, CVS/Target, but not too many online places. I hope they are as good or better as you tell us; I bought a packette today.

Hmm interesting. Maybe not a good match to the razor you have or something like that. Af least for me I'd say its very excellent if not my favorite. I also really like the Astra blue just a bit under this one. The only blade I like even more than this Gillette Platinum is the Wilkinson Sword German blade. My least favorite blade is the feather blade.

I like feather but I think astra is the best bang for the buck you can currently get 100 for around 8.00 . I also like Gillette silver blue .

I always had decent shaves with the platinum. However the new Platinum's in the almost all blue packaging (formerly known as Swedes) are superior.

Dude....you put an adjustable razor on the maximum aggressive setting and acted surprised you cut yourself?! LoL about 3 is where most people shave.

My first safety, 3 weeks at 6, love it...just rise it, wonder razor!

I have a pair of these. They're alright at best. Ive worn them maybe 75 times in 2.5 yrs. Getting ready for a date the other night and the speed hooks popped off the boot. Contacted Thursday Boot company to try to get them repaired... Nothing... Crickets. So I hit up their facebook page and they freaking blocked me. Guys spend your $200 with a company who will stand behind their products and back them up. These influencers act like $200 for boots is inexpensive. Guy's, I had to bust my ass and save to buy these boots and this company wont even entertain a conversation about repairing a well kept, very lightly used pair of boots bought from them. I was proud to own them. Now I'm embarrassed to say they took my hard earned $$. I would've gotten better wear from a $50 boot on amazon and recieved the same bad customer service
