I am an avid railfan with a life long interest in railways and trains. It was the middle 1970s when I was little my dad used to take me up to watch trains. I have been hooked ever since. I watched lots of trains near my family cottage at Ingolf, Ontario, CP rail's mainline runs through Ingolf. I also liked CN action around my home in Winnipeg. As of 2022 I am 49 years old and still love watching trains. I especially like the CN out at Baynham, Manitoba on the Sprague sub as this is a very busy line.

I caught this train on my way home from my mom's house in Sanford. They are slowly rumbling past the Spectra Energy gas refinery and mile 11 on the La Riviere sub. This train does work in Morris and Altona as well as elevators on the subdivision. A big customer is an oil refinery in Altona. This guy could be heard as I was waiting for G890 to arrive. I could hear the engines working hard on the grain train and hear the horns blowing in the distance from this train. Yup, I got to see some good trains, too. It was quite cold 🥶 for this time of year. At least we didn't get the big dump of snow that Montana got near Yellowstone Park.
This is not a CPKC engine. It's still a KCS engine. Even the 2 repaints are not CPKC.

I got a question is the sprague subdivision busy on Sundays at around like, 1-2 PM?
It is pretty busy every day, Thursday and Friday are the best times for me. Sunday is a little bit slower than usual.

342 yesterday had a KCSM SD70ACe and a BNSF GP38-2. A BLE engine on 438 today and an NS on 491.
I had to go home yesterday morning, so I didn't get to record those. I saw intermodel 198 on my way home.
WOW that was amazing. It is interesting to know that the long cars are carrying plastic granules.

1st time seeing an oil train wow!
We live in La Salle just north of the river on the other side of the highway where the train stopped. We saw this train stop fairly quick as it went behind our house. Thought may be it had hit a vehicle at the crossing where you were filming. Glad that wasn't the case.

Actually this is not 100, that one came later.
That is so sad! I just missed an eastbound CN intermodal train, just east of that spot! Yesterday afternoon.
What was also very sad for me was when I finished recording that train, I immediately left for Ingolf. As I got two miles east of here, another intermodel train like this one showed up! I knew I couldn't chase it because of the crossing, so I chose to carry on to Ingolf, where I should see some good CP trains.
