Just found your channel and immediately subscribed! You are so lovely to listen to. I have dry skin and just started using the Haru Haru Airyfit sunscreen. Would agree that it does the best at drying down. I do find sometimes that it pills under makeup, but I wonder if it is my skincare (sometimes I switch up the routine) or the specific foundation. I am wearing that day. Going to have to pay more attention! Will be going through your videos and watching a bunch 😊

Dermaplaned first time today, no rash so far. Did all the steps you showed. Hoping my blonde fuzz will not return too swiftly. I can def do this monthly as long as my skin tolerates it.

I dermaplaned for the first time today. I’m 50. I had normal blonde fuzz but started to really feel like I got fuzzier recently. No one noticed but me and I gave it a whirl. I used the Gillette Venus dermaplaning razor I picked up from Walgreens. It was so comfortable. I barely felt the blade on my skin. I tried to not go over the same area twice but at the end missed one or two areas and went upward to get those shorter rough patches. The downward didn’t work in that area. But I did short feathery 45 degree angle strokes otherwise. My prep was washing with cetaphil foaming cleanser which is my new fave facial wash. I then wiped with rubbing alcohol pad. Skin was clean and dry. Afterward I wiped with micellar water and also witch hazel. I applied the Gillette serum I bought which was calming and lovely. It has hylauronic acid,niaciniamide, aloe, witch hazel and cucumber water. Very gentle. I’ll put more on tonight. Tomorrow I’ll use my regular lotions. Just giving skin a break overnight to calm. So far no rash. Hoping for no issues this week. I’m actually glad I did it myself. I feel like if I went to a salon it would have been a deeper exfoliation causing more sensitivity. My skin seems to be tolerating the dry planing tonight. It’s been several hours and I’m not red at all. I will hopefully only need to do this monthly. I hope.

I have one under my clavicle. I'm pretty pale so it's only visible when I take a hot shower and the surrounding skin becomes red. Good to know It's actually a birth mark. Interestingly enough my sister was born with a vascular birthmark with an eccess of very fragile capillaries on her leg, and depending on the period it can disappear, move up and down her leg, become red or purple, or burst creating a ton of tiny scabs.

I'm going on a year and a half of using it, and there is a difference. I am sad that my hair is not silky anymore, though. It's feeling quite dry and lackluster. Any tips for that? I have to use a very thick moisturizer because my skin is very dry. But my moisturizer takes a long, long time to dry down, like one hour at least. Can you help me understand how to apply sunscreen in that case? What does my skin need to feel like before I can apply sunscreen, will the sunscreen not be effective if it is sitting on top of a thick moisturizer.

Gaslight 101! Sun exposure doesn't cause skin cancers. It's the "preventive" sunscreen and other chemicals you put on your skin!! Go back before the sun was your greatest enemy and there were much less instances of skin cancer!

Anytime I apply sunscreen around my hairline the skin there gets SO dry and flaky!! I only use mineral sunscreen and am so confused by this. It also dries out my upper eyelids.
