“Dont be autistic”, Okay. Guess I’m fucked then lmao
Do you have IG?
13:14 for real?
It’s an exaggeration, as long as you stay relevant with AI tools/trends you’ll be alright
I remember when I used to get burnout, went through about 10 tyres until I stopped. Love the videos, keep it up :)
Ty John Doe for your completely unsolicited comment. Will do 🫡
Ur so wise
I am officially unc status

Appreciate it, gotta put it on for the vid 🤝
Welcome back chief. I just put out an animated Lil Uzi biopic that I would love if you checked out
Thanks man, I just had a look at your work. It’s dope, like if Waking Life was a music video
He's back~🖤🤍

🤝
don't lie about having a degree lmao the background check will tell on you
I’m being generous here, but let’s say 1 in 10 will check. I’ll still take 90% odds any day
I thought every job did a background check.. but maybe they don’t all show that?
As someone who is attempting to choose a career to pursue; I always fall back to art. Maybe it’s because I feel like I’d suck at anything else, but I think a big part of it is feeling an insatiable urge and calling towards it. Even if it wasn’t a career, I’d never be able to stop creating, it almost feels drilled into you. I think the difficult part is deciding how you want to go about art. Art school and go into debt unless you get very rich?? Attempt to jump right in without any degree or connections?? It’s really difficult to say, especially in the age where AI art progresses and inflation rises. I think if you deny your urge to pursue something, you’ll only be miserable. I have no clue how I’m going to go about this lifestyle, but I’m not going to give up until it’s been attained
If you have that drive and you keep consistently improving, I think it’s inevitable to make it
Asian guy sounds like a NY eye talian! LOL
wussa focken matta witchu 🤌🤌
Can you post a link to the loop? I want to find an American equivalent but can't find that site. If you know an American equivalent, that would be great too.
Lmao I think the website went defunct, I would try looking up companies you want to work for and contacting them directly if I was looking for a job rn
This helped my mindset a lot, thank you goat
All g I gotchu 🤝
i discovered your channel love listening to u. I agree some of ur opinion, (I'm a graphic artist, concept artist, illustrator and Im not that worried about AI)
glad we see eye to eye, thanks for watching 🤝
Hey Tré! you got a personal website or Portfolio where I can find your works and understand your art perspective?
my IG is on screen at 13:09 📸
@Tre-333 I really ♡ your style of artwork. I really wish to make ones similar to these. You inspire me to be a better artist & designer! Thanks!
thanks a lot. feel free to reach out if you need any help 💫
I think it's open to debate. I have worked as a tattoo artist, I don't JUST trace, I know how to draw as well. I did learn how to use lightroom, procreate, adobe and a few others. I then when back to college for two years and learned phtography. I received my first regional graphic design job not too long ago. I learned the hustle years ago, and that nobody trusts a newbie. Carry yourself like you belong there and you wont be questioned. Having the skills/talent to back it up is not to be underrated, but if you want to make it, get that hustle on and get out there. Additionall, I have made more connections on LinkedIn than any other platform.
thanks for sharing, i’m always interested in hearing other artists’ stories
What a masterclass 👏
appreciate it brother 🤝
I'm loving this stuff. Great tips and encouragement!
Glad you enjoy it ✨
This video is gold!!! Thank you for brightening up my day 😊
you’re welcome! 💫

First of our real graphic designers don’t engage in vandalism. That’s what your graffiti there is indicating. I would never recommend anybody following. What a vandal recommends. I’m a professional graphic designer. I live in breathe my profession I design everything in my head before putting it down, I beat every deadline. I never lied in my résumé or anything. I come from a humble background working class family, my father died my mom help me raise me. She raise me with some ethics and morals and is not the way to go. It’s unfortunate that I see people taking on a street like this profession that you should be working at home all the time they should be dressed like a thug or skater or whatever the heck hip-hop means. Nothing makes you look unprofessional. I get it. I get it you want to express yourself that’s what you are, but you can’t be encouraging a degradation of a profession. You have to have some pride and self-respect. One of things I will tell you from experience doing this for many many many years and it’s proven 100% correct faking a portfolio faking a resume gets around and you really talented which you should be from a young age the ability to draw design paint do something creative. It should be natural you should be born with it. You’re never trained in it. You may think you are, but you are never , going to be like in real but I will tell you the right people see you. They will know they will know how good you are. How valuable and how talented you are. It just takes the right people the right GOOD people. It may seem like they’re not around, but they are it’s just, they see their eyes light up.
I being studying art for 15 f&cking years, it’s not possible for me that ai actually could do the same job as me, as an illustrator.
It can’t. The emotion, feeling and vibe that a human can add is incomparable. AI makes pretty pictures, but it fails to deliver authenticity. People crave authenticity
13:16 Ai can’t replace creativity
hardposting lies is so funny to me
No.
omg lmao i got a degree in graphic design. its been over a year and i still cant find one lol. so now i gotta lie i guess, so i i just put 'free lance' when ive been doing none lol also for my portfolio i copy on behance. its good website. but i dont copy 100% ... since doing these two things i got some replies back.... still no job tho lol ALSO i wanted to add that one of my friend wrote he can do 3d when they job asked , he had no idea how to do it ... he got the job in the end and learnt in his free time how to do 3d lol
Haha yes, I used to do the old “freelancer” trick to cover gaps in employment. Hope you’re getting better luck on the job hunt now 🍀 Also yeah I did the same thing with after effects. I had zero idea how to use it, but said I knew it in the interview. Fast forward 3 months later, after using it daily I got pretty advanced in the skills I needed
I never comment but this video was too good not to, advice well said 👏🏼
Appreciate the rare comment 🤝
what microphone did you use in this video ? / btw nice video man !
ty 💫 i used a rode wireless go 2 attached to an interview handle so my hands have something to hold onto, no diddy
This has to be the realest video on CZcams! He straight up said “download a pirated version of photoshop”😂
Lmao, biggest compliment ty
Do you really think that AI will take over all creative jobs?
Not all, as there’s always gonna be some level of demand for human made art/design. But yeah, most commercial work will be cooked
Can't recruiters trace your LinkedIn profile and see that you're lying?
Good Q. LinkedIn is mostly just a circle jerk for financebros. Only once you’ve reached the mid-senior stage of your career will recruiters bother to invest hours on detective work. Hopefully by then you don’t need to lie as you would’ve actually gained legit experience
I think Im in love with you
Ma’am i’d move mountains just to hold your hand
im dead when you said the reason for chinese restaurant lol...(im from china hahaha
China number 1 🤝
Nah cause telling people to lie about their school is wild 😂
But thanks for the tips and advice! It actually helped me a whole lot
All g, hope it works out for ya 🤝
Dude You are 100000000 percent Right!!!!
This is the only content I've found that has clear and concise advice for new designers, and I have a bachelors and all the resources of a university. King
i wouldnt mind getting bullied by you tbh
copy n paste of tré's cold outreach message - don't forget to add some of your own creative flare ;) "Hey, my name is ____. I found your email on your website and I wanted to reach out because I'm a really big fan of your work. I'm a young designer, looking to share my talents with a team that I can grow with. I was wondering if you had any available opportunities for a junior graphic designer? Here's a link to my portfolio: _____. Thank you for your time! Sincerely, ____."
Ok that’s more like my speed 🤙
🤝
Since AI content spreads, it's never been the same. It has poison our minds to doubt every smooth rendered, high contrast pieces. And surely the demand on beginner - amateur level art is fucked. But thank you for giving us a positive perspective on this.
When there’s a demand for anything, and people are willing to pay good money for it - human beings will find a way to make it happen. Same thing goes for human-made art. We’ll develop AI technology to identify and validate whether art or media is authentic. Same reason why people will spend extra money for services like stockX to authenticate sneakers, even tho the technology already exists to make replicas indistinguishable from the original manufacturer.
This is a random question,but are u a Filipino? 😅
Hahaha. Race reveal at 10k subs 💫

I spent 3 months trying to get a job interview through my CV. It wasn’t working so I just ended up creating a new resume where I quite literally lied about half the things. It worked, I’ve been at my dream job for over a year now. ... so yeah, Lie
Same story here, now I’m at a point I don’t need to lie. Glad to hear it worked out for you too 🤝
This is so true for life in general. One of the top CZcamsrs on this platform with over 30 million subs started her channel by faking her gameplay and reading from scripts made for her. The majority of the people at the top either were born in it or they faked their way into it.
If your so comfortable lying then how can I take your advise seriously. You say you went to college but I have a feeling that’s a lie. I’m done watching your videos.
Dude some of the most successful people lie. Idk why you feel so betrayed Casey Neistat faked Nike commercials to eventually make real Nike commercials. Tom Ford faked a fashion degree to start his career and he eventually became creative director for Gucci and YSL
your missing the point here - you can't compare photography and other art forms to 'ai art'. photography can stand on its own and doesn't rely on scraping of other people's art in order to exist. To even call AI "Art" is stupid - there's no creative process behind it like in any other art form. And as long as it screws over artists by stealing their art work, I wouldn't even use it in the process. I think people calling it the future are delusional. YEah it won't go away, but people are already sick of it. It's just a cheap generic copy trying to profit of people's real art work. It can't produce originals or be inspired because it's not 'intelligent' as the name says but literally takes pieces of artists that are usually used in the input and mashes them together. Something that would anywhere else violate copyright laws. It's not and never will be an art form.
I think you’re missing my point. I disagree that Ai art is “worthless”, clearly it can create things at a much faster pace and with zero effort compared to your average 21 year old art school graduate. To bury your head in the sand and expect everyone else to follow (especially non-designers/artists) is naive. The economics will play themselves out - and if you don’t adapt and accept the reality AI art is here to stay, you’re gonna be outcompeted by artists who WILL use AI. That’s not me being a dick, it’s just my advice to help people. Also to argue that it’s not art, that’s simply your subjective opinion. If you ask the average person, they’ll find AI generated art aesthetically pleasing and I already see it being used for commercial purposes. Which is what led me to the theory that collectively we are going to redefine what “great art” is by valuing its process. Which is similar to how the camera made ‘concept’ more important than attaining the technical skill needed to achieve realism. That’s why I used photography as an analogy. It wasn’t a 1:1 comparison
@@Tre-333 what you are describing is purely a cheap product. If you think art is just a product, yeah than that’s that. You will probably never understand art. You just want to cheapen the value of creative work. You say you value process but you clearly don’t. Ai is a tool that’s just avoiding the process of creativity and creation and the market is already oversaturated with trash ai art. In the end what gives art value, besides the artwork is the human behind it and the story they are telling with their art. People see if someone just wants to cash in or actually wants to entertain and tell a story. It’s an expression of something. People don’t only support the artwork itself, but the brand (the person behind it) and the experience they have with them. If you lack a story and never went through the process of creating something yourself, you can’t call it art. Also I know many art students and Art graduates whose work I already love, it’s awesome to see their progress and see them developing their own unique style. Not everything has to look ‘perfect’ either. It’s the opposite really, the artwork that ai is often spitting out are these overly perfect replications, that simply lack soul. You praise cheap products that by no definition can be defined as art. It’s also not made by you. It’s made by a machine. And for the outcome of your prompt you don’t even own the copyright. And telling people to jump on the AI “art” bandwagon reminds me when the same thing was told about NFTs and well we all know how that turned out…
@@Tre-333 and let’s say everyone stops doing art today. Where will the artwork come from that machines use “to learn” (aka steal from) in the future? Eventually everything just gets recycled and trash is feeding itself, with the outcome of more trash.
you must not have watched my video lmao cause i never said half that stuff. you're putting so many words into my mouth (no diddy) that there's no point continuing this discussion. rewatch this video in 2030 and see how i'm right
solid vid. easy sub
Ty, welcome aboard 🫡
Realy good point with the camera and the art scene. Also becomeing some sort of influencer persona that puts itself out there for their fans; is a great way to set apart from a mashine.
100% Same principle as faceless creators having a harder time connecting with an audience compared to people who share their face and daily lives
