I am not a fast racer but I love racing Modified because It makes me improve a lot of aspects of my driving and I prefer the feeling of driving a modified better than a stock due to the drive ratios.
I have silver cut staggers for wet weather, is this process worth doing to them or is the taller flexible sidewall better left alone for wet low grip? Thanks 👍
Iam not sure but it’s probably worth an experiment to find out. As you say the taller sidewall may be better in the wet and give more grip
@@DDRC thanks for the reply, not had a wet race yet but it's bound to happen at some point, I have glued them with the jig but may get another pair so that I can compare

Are those 988 front hubs that I see (yes, they are)? Very interesting. The kit standard build has more steering than I've ever known in an 8th car. I'm absolutely loving mine. Had nitro, loved nitro, hated blagging a pit man everywhere you go. Edit: And what front bumper is that? 989? looks odd, maybe just the angle.

Great racing. Im a nitro guy. When I run electric races I like to play ACDC or something the like - gets the vibe up a lil.
Very informative 😊 I had nitro but found it annoying with tuning & having a pitman What size pinion & spur are u running? I too have the 990e & about to install the HW G3 with 2800kv
I think kit standard spur is 45, match that with a 20T pinion and you'll be golden. With the G3 don't be tempted to leave out the cap pack, it's essential. The G2 didn't have one but the G2 was a little bit bigger.

Look nice and they do go well but price put me off so I went with Mardave in the end

@@DDRC hi. I have the figures on a spreadsheet at home and as a beginner it was enough to sway me. The car itself is a little better though and go very well at our track for sure. A more advanced driver should take the joker seriously if looking for a new car

It might be worth doing up the screws in a star pattern. With many things that helps to stop any crookedness anywhere . Just a thought.

😂 Yeah because I upload a lot to TikTok it’s usually portrait. I have been doing more 16.9 videos lately and changing them to work for TikTok. Been posting more on here so I’ll try and keep it in the right format 👍🏻

16 metres wide and over 30 metres long. Plenty big enough and was a good track to be fair
