Due to the COVID outbreak, the Safari Marathon could not take place on Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in June 2020 as planned. The Borana Conservancy anti-poaching team took part in the virtual race as part of their training regime on Borana Conservancy. Filmed and edited by James Lewin.

Thank you to all the rangers and everyone at Borana Conservancy for protecting these magnificent animals. Your dedication and resolve to stop them from being killed by poachers and putting your life in danger every day is truly inspirational and let's hope that the Rhinos numbers continue to grow. The Rhinos deserve to live in peace. I hope to one day visit Borana and go out with the rangers, to help them protect the Rhinos. Thank you to all the team at Borana for the conservation work that you do.
Borana looks like a stunning like a beautiful and magical place to visit and stay at. Definitely a place to add to my top 5 list of Safari destinations. Thanks to the team at Borana for protecting and conserving the wildlife here.
Thank you to all the rangers and the wildlife team at Borana Conservancy for protecting the Rhinos, lions and other wildlife in this stunningly beautiful part of Kenya. Without your hard work and dedication these magnificent animals would not be alive today, to live the life they deserve, being free and safe to roam the plains of Borana. I salute you all and also thank the Dyer family for your lifetime commitment to preserving them for future generations. I hope to one day visit Borana and see the Rhinos for myself. It looks an amazing place to stay.
