Hii just to mention, I've followed your channel for a few years, mainly covering the CTX. I think your videos have been excellent throughout, very informative. I bought my CTX in 2014, sold for a Goldwing in 2017 only to buy another CTX in 2023. Boy I missed the CTX so I wondered if you've wondered from time to time if you'd wished you hadn't parted with yours? I'm in the UK and it's not a mile munching country, in my opinion, so the Goldwing is a little overkill. It's nice to have a choice when contemplating a ride out but, both bikes have their place in motorcycling. I'd be interested in your thoughts. Good channel very honest and informative.

Would have never got that G D thing on without your video. Thanks much. My springs came with like a rubber hose over the springs, I assume to keep them cleaner? Had to cut that off to get the pennies it.

I just bought the ctx700 and love it first manual bike. How many miles do you get with your bike ? I got 205 but still had gas in to get more mile put 2.99 gallons in and it is a 3.37 gas tank been seeing for these My brother want to get 1 of these ctx1300

Next time I do a review, second cam Will show entire dash. And the over drive feature not tried, I don't get it, so we don't get to see RPM drop when engaged. Alrighty then, guess seventy year old drag bike guys doing it for fifty years is what it takes punching it hard on open freeways out of town. Passing fleet of semis like one comes across endlessly all day, and they're cruising 90. But the mic action works well as easily heard with turbulent shorty windshield. Cheers

Have you sold this bike or still have it?

Was looking at a CTX 1300 as a secondary bike. I have a 16 softail slim that I will be keeping. After watching several of your videos I am convinced that the CTX does not offer me the extra I need to justify a second bike. No cruise control and lack of power were the deciding factors. Came to the conclusion that the softail does everything the CTX does and has the power I expect.

I’m getting one of these in a couple weeks!

So looking to get back on 2 wheels I miss it I used to ride a Honda Shadow and loved riding. I found a Honda CTX1300 for sale and got a chance to test ride it… oh my god love the ride feel and sound of it. It only has 4700 miles and they are asking 8k what do you think?

I did buy it. I call it perfect .

I got the same shield, my thought is it could be 1 to 2 mm thicker for shields 8 in and taller. I find it moves to much.

I ride both brands and love them both for different reasons. Key take away…… just ride your ride and love what you’re riding. As frequently stated over at SRK Cycles… “it’s not what you ride, it’s that you ride”

I am in the UK and currently looking at some very good used models with low mileage at very reasonable prices. I am hesitating though over the lack of a cruise control to the extent that I might well go for a slightly older, but good used gl1800 GoldWing which has everything. Having just sold my 2018 Harley Ultra Limited, the original idea was to get something a little bit cheaper, smaller, and lighter, and the CTX seemed to fit the bill. You went from a GoldWing to the CTX - how did you find that? Did you miss the extras you get with a Wing?
