my favorite character of all time!!!! got spoiled for his return though 😭
i was nervous that if they were to bring randall back in monsters at work they'd ruin his character, but i think they did him justice :] steve buscemi did a great job, i hope to see more of randall again in the future!!

I've heard that there will be another movie called Monsters Inc 2, the return of Boo. In this movie, Mike and Sulley would see the beauty of the human world by moving through Boo's door. They would even meet Boo, who now would be 8 years old. I've also heard that this movie would take place after the events of Monsters at work.
I hope in this movie Randall would also try to get revenge on Mike and Sulley, but Boo would save them by beating up Randall again.

One of my favorite pixar-villains as well, he's so adjustable in many ways with no right or wrong answers. Especially when looking closer at how vague most of his actions are when you think about it, there could always be other explanations. "Pure Evil" or "Tragic" with or without redemption, I'm good either way. Makes it fun to "Toy" around with him to make up any "Story".

We can all agree that Randall is the most OP monster in the verse, right?
I always hoped that Randall would return, but I had hoped that he be rescued by Sully and Mike. I am hoping that Randall will be reformed and redeemed soon. I could think of many ways he could be reformed, being friendly, smart, and shy again, like back in Monsters University. He wasn't always a bad guy in the beginning. I want him to be the way he used to be before Monsters Inc., to be one of those villains turned into good types. And possibly find love as well too.
The issue is that he does not show any redeeming qualities in either the first movie or this show. The guy literally tried to make a machine that could kill countless children and is still being evil after that. He doesn't deserve sympathy, especially not now.

They pulled off Randall perfectly here. I had been hoping for an explanation of him getting back into the Monster World that was canon to the films. The fact that he was behind everything and framed it on Tylor seems like something he would do. Also it’s because of Randall being my favourite movie villain of all time.

@@ameerizwan7434 i think he somehow recovered the broken door from monsters inc, we saw that doors can be fixed and work again just fine

Given the fact that they originally had a plan fo Randall to be redeemed, i kinda wonder fi they'll go for it in season 3? Eh who knows, i'm just glad he wasn't killed off after MI because of how entertaining he was.
maybe, i feel randall's too far gone to be redeemed, but i'm not completely opposed to the idea so long as they do it well. i'm so glad they didn't kill him off too, it was delightful to hear steve buscemi reprise his role as randall after so long, i had a blast seeing him again
