the relationship between twilight and sombra should've been showed more in the show and comics. i get the show version of twilight not reforming sombra but the comics version after reading sombras book should've at least tried to she even felt bad for him. if i could think of twilight and sombras relationship if the show tried it would be part extra friends and romantic in a way. if the show is any indication twilight and sombra are really similar, both as fillys where treated not well tords others(this is seen when twilight was talking to her water reflection where a memory of kids laughing at her happans) and both really like reading (for sombras case reading helped him speak fluidly so it's clear why he likes it) both where in the wanting to make friends situation but was pushed aside (this is showed in twilights song about shining armor were she wanted to know what it'll be like to make friends but couldn't ) twilight had her brother and sombra had hope do to this, both groups did everything together even saw a glance of their future, hope being a student under celestia and shining armor being in the crystal empire both twilight and sombra where affected by magic out of their control, the crystal heart trying to destroy sombra over and over do to being a umbra pony and the sonic rainboom makeing twilights magic out of control which implied by twilight in the Trixie episode and later celestia when she questioned if the ponys of ponyvil would give twilight a chance even though she knows the main 5 and almost everyone there indicates twilights out of control magic left a negative effect, both twilight and sombra went down a path for someone else they originally didn't want. their names alone indicates this a sparkle in most situations is a light of hope it's a light that shines in a dark place like a guide, while sombra is under the same place as teros and shadow it's the reflection of something it's something that would be a part of you and other cases protect you like a knight in shining armor. the show itself indicates twilight and sombras relationship, back when sombra first appears twilight had a fear nightmare thing that shows celestia pushing twilight away with a poster behind her showing sombra taking the crystal heart with twilight falling to the dark crystals below where a blue sparkle shines with the blue sparkles going up to sombra, this literally indicates sombra and midnight sparkle (Twilights evil alter ego from eg and when twilight talked to her water reflection as if she's two different characters and corrupted the element releasing the same blue dark magic) would have a situation together, in the comics twilight reforms sombra thanks to hope and the other princess helped with. it's literally their twilight could've reformed sombra and been like a parter to him she could be his new hope, while sombra would be her new shining armor. while king sombra could've had twilight/midnight sparkle as a queen by his side.

good episode, from what I know in the comic she is the closest friend who had a shadow before turning evil, I must admit if in case King Dombra becomes good in this wonderful fanfic or fanfiction I will feel sorry for Celestia now she will remember the king dimbra from the mirror universe of the wue she fell in love after having exiled Luna, keep it up my friend, you do it very well, I wait here for the next episode. ps.
