Wish you would of actually cut the pipe on camera to demonstrate how quickly it cuts and show truly what the cut looks like.
I have the 8oz ball peen. I love it. Also have two framers and a 24oz mallet. All great
I agree, great hammers!
I love this size hammer for the small projects I do.
These are made in Germany by NWS pliers it seems
I have a pair of these in my kitchen drawer!
By far the best pliers I have ever used. They are very tactile. They give you a lot of feedback and they can slip into tight spaces that you couldn't normally get into
I ❤ a good set of nut drivers, I have some wihas & old school felos. Never see that feature before, very clever. Color coded too.
I like these jaws better than the standard jaws, they feel more tailored
Great demonstration, great video.
Thanks so much!
I have used a screwdriver or needle nose pliers, this looks so much easier to use.
You need to give these a try!
Any stamped WIHA logo? Stamped sizing? Stamped part no on each bit? Or is there just etched logo and sizeing? Vietnam made?
There is a Wiha logo on the side of the 1/4" shaft and the size on the end of the shaft. Yes, made in Vietnam
I have this set.
I need this
cool set!
I have this set...I like how easy the bits are to see in the case.
Awesome video would love a demonstration when you are showing the tools
Thanks for your comment, great idea...I will add some demos to future videos.
No need to screw in 6/32 and 8/32 screws but insert them into their designated holes on an angle. Works from both sides of the stripper just as well. There are no threads inside the holes to slow down the clipping of the screws or go in on the wrong side and fight with a plugged hole.
Thanks for your comment...I like using the threads in the tool so I can clean up the threads on the screw as I unscrew it after the cut.
I think the hole in the handle is to loop wire
Thanks for letting us know!
Step 1, throw that thing In the bin, it's dangerous. Step 2, get a plug in socket checker.
This tool certainly brings a lot of opinions both positive and negative!
@chris-ryan what if you're not testing just sockets?
Thank you for the video :) From Arabia!
Thanks so much for watching!
You can put if the put the 1/4 inch impact adaptive together to it goes inside the larger 1/2 inche adapter so you can also use the bigger sockets with the impact also
Thanks for the tip!
How do you reload the dispenser or is not even possible ?
Thanks for the question...on the Klein website, they do not give any mention of refilling it, so I can't tell if you can safely refill it, or just need to buy a new one.
I saw this the other day on the shelf... i should of bought it
It's well worth picking one up, I got mine here: hausoftools.com/products/klein-tools-32910rcht-7-in-1-impact-rated-flip-socket-set-with-ratcheting-handle?_pos=1&_sid=38201c5e7&_ss=r
...and you don't get electrocuted because??
There is a large resistance resistor inside (specifically, a 1 Mega-Ohm resistor) that significantly limits the amount of current that's flowing through it. It absorbs the vast majority of the available current, and only lets a little amount to pass through the neon bulb and to your body to complete the circuit.
How long is this bit holder?
Although most of the Klein tools are made in the USA, I heard from the horses mouth (a member of the Klein family and a representative) that all Klein tools will be made in the USA and that is awesome to know (spread the word about this).
Why does the other side of the outlet don't lit up? Is there no current on it? Just a question.
Yes, you have a ground and a live. The live has the power running through it but the ground is there to make the connection. You still need to be careful with both but the live is the one to be concerned about. In the UK the live one is either a red cable (older) or in newer wiring it's brown
It's a neutral
Poplar is not hardwood where we are but it varies I guess as to your location. Thanks for the demo.
Robert, you tell exactly how it is - needed! As this is probably one of the most poorly understood Wera tools by its users which is a shame as the mechanical engineering is brilliant and in practice a wonderful tool to have and I have one indeed!
As a reply to @MustPassTruck: It is not the engineers.... it's the marketing department... it is always the same people: admin, marketing, finance, sales who screws up designers and engineers good jobs eg and to sum it up it is always the same culprit: money!
Great innovation from Wiha!
Works but I use it for lesser voltage applications. I’m not sticking anything in a live outlet, even though I know it’s fine to do
Seems sketchy
With the way quality control is these days you are at risk. Don't do it. Non contact devices are available.
Why do I feel like this is a prank and it’s real use will not get you electrocuted
I assure you the video is real and the tool is real, here is where I got mine: hausoftools.com/products/wiha-tools-25511-insulated-single-pole-voltage-detector?_pos=141&_sid=b9b04350b&_ss=r
Do you like these pliers better the the Klein's from a previous video?
The Klein's have a larger jaw for wire twisting, these have more stripping options from 10 to 16 awg. For all around electrical work I may choose these, if I needed more heavy duty and mostly did residential I would go with the Klein.
Is it Germany made ?
yep
Thanks for the video, good teaching style and reasoning. Maybe a link to purchase the tool from a company you like could be useful. Thanks for the efforts
id trust my life with a Chinese piece of junk
I don't think this tool is practical. You have to "push" the button every time to switch to turbo, because while at "turbo" you can't use the screwdriver as normal screwdriver. But you have to do the switch, because the torque at "turbo" is 4x lower. And the switching action, takes away all the speed bonus there is. As one youtube video explained, this turbo screwdriver is most suitable for light duty, laptop assembly, disassembly. Because the lowered torque is perfectly fine there and also the sweet spot to not break the plastic screw slot. This turbo screwdriver is not suitable for furniture assembly or higher torque bike repair etc. At least it doesn't offer anything extra.
Hello I’m curious if you could help me, I just bought one of these and plugged it in to charge I’m only getting 5w as I see everyone else 70+ input it goes up to 30 if I turn the AC outlets on, with 25.4v and 100wh but it keeps saying 99.9 hrs until fully charged I’ve tried every outlet in the house verified power at my outlets and I have no errors or faults on my machine saying low power it’s all lit up green and I just took it out of the box like this, thank you for your time
Great video cant wait to get mine
Let us know how you like it.
Sounds like Richard Dreyfuss
I can't unhear Richard Dreyfus now...
Bin it
When I find tools I don't need but must have 😂
Hence these ive been obsessed with replacing all my sockets and adapters all to kline so far so good cut everything in half
hi Robert got a question for you in my home its 125 volts I want to change my outlet plate but I dont think I can cut the power this special insulated type would be the best remedy? thoughts please thank you!
By plate do you mean the decorative cover, then any screwdriver should be fine...if you mean the outlet, then I would hire an electrician if you cant turn off the power.
@@robertthetooljunkie8152 thank you for your response are you telling me that swtiching an outlet plate should be a dummys fix? but just it case I do have my specially insulated electricians screwdriver thoughts please thank you of course we put in disclaimer for you and also say that this is assuming everything is properly wired I guess? I mean I already changed a light swtich plate with out a problem and I guess if I am really worried I can use electrical tape to temporarily cover the outlet? ideas please thank you ( I mean as compared to the light swtich place I would think the only difference is if you stick a metal in outlet you may have a problem ? but as previously stated I have my specially insulated elecrician screwdriver thoughts please thank you)
@@Fredengle Your welcome...yes, doing an outlet plate should be the same as the switch, however, I am talking about the way it is is America, if where you are has wires on the plate, then it is best to hire a professional to make the change. I hope this helps.
@@robertthetooljunkie8152 Yeah I already swtich with new plates several light swtiches I did ask some one who was a contractor they said theoretically just swtiching the plate should quailify according to them as a dummies fix but just in case I think I will make sure there is I will push the button on the gfci till there is no current and use an electricians insulated screw driver just in case?
@@Fredengle Yes, it should be an easy change...keep in mind if your gfci is older, is older it may not reset. This sometimes can happen. If you have a steady hand changing a plate on a live outlet should be ok.
But don't you have to buy the reamer and tap stuff separately?
Yes, or you can buy the handle with the taps or the conduit reamer based on your needs. I was just showing how versatile this handle can be!
Why would this be better than Bosch Go electric screwdriver? The Wera Turbo weights 230g, and the Bosch Go weights 310, so 80g different, but with that you get electric.
Nice concise overview of this set, thanks!
Thanks!
How have they held up?
Like most quality tools if you use them correctly they will hold up fine, if you force them into a fastener, they can be damaged.
