In 2023 we spent time in a rural community and worked as support workers. This gave us a greater awareness of different cultures and ways of life and provided a financial base to take on some new adventures in our search for humanity.
In May The Deplorables are heading overseas from Australia to Poland, Chechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Austria. We hope to understand more of what life is like for people there. We plan to interview and listen to people who are shaping their own life journey while making a positive difference to those around them while also introducing people to different parts of our world.

Good job Solidarity! It was thanks to Solidarity, and the intervention from the civilized West, that we - workers in Poland - were finally given the chance to experiment unemployment. It was thanks to the Free Market solutions that we understood housing, education and basically every human necessity should always be placed behind private companies' profit. Today, thanks God and the Free Market, we can buy tangerines, kiwis and pineapples whenever we want. Ok, it's not all perfect, we can't afford housing and life costs are so ridiculously high that the birth rates in Poland have fallen as it's never happened before, but hey! Tangerines! Wałęsa should be proud!
Look, I mean no disrespect, but have you even read my comment before giving it a heart? I'm dropping the sarcasm right now because I think you are well intended. Solidarność was indeed born out of workers' discontent, however, contrary to what is commonly propagandized in Polish TV and the Western media, the movement did not appear due to a lack of metaphorical freedom. Solidarność was born because of a hike in the prices of food and goods in general. That is why workers organized themselves. The aid from US came later on, when the movement started showing potentials to disrupt and dismantle the Polish social regime, just like it happened in Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and even in the Soviet Union. Solidarność was co-opted. I believe I don't have to say that the US wouldn't send financial aid and fax machines - yes, they sent fax machines - anywhere if there wasn't a financial gain involved. It's all there, in history. Wałęsa himself said many times that the US was doing a good investment by financially aiding Solidarność. Stay safe. Cheers from Poland.

"Out of the mouths of babes " the best thing lv heard out in public for a long time ,a little girl about 8yo said something to her mum that made me laugh and raised my spirit at the same time . Let me tell you the edited version of the story , lm exiting the local plaza shopping center on my way to unlock my bicycle and l see a police car parked in the space reserved for them right outside the door , two cops are exiting the vehicle and for about 2seconds we're walking directly towards each other, l fade right to my bike and pay no attention to the cops as l unlocked my bike , l hear a child behind me say "lets chase them ", so l turn around and see the police are heading up the lane for trucks to delivery to the plaza and l also see a boy and girl with whom l assume is their mum , the boy has started walking fast a few steps away from the direction his mum is going but he fades back to his mum as she and daughter are about the enter the building , mum had said something my ears didn't decipher but daughter pipes up as if to support brothers idea , " THEY'RE PROBABLY GOING TO STEAL SOMETHING "! 😱 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 it made me so happy to hear that because it indicates the depth of the loss of blind respect children and adults used to have for people who claim to be morally superior righteous upholders of law . #thisgirliswoke

The song celebrates Poland being free after 123 years of occupation where they were unable to speak, write and read in their own language. After the occupation ended they had freedom to follow their own faith and religious beliefs and practice their own culture.
Freedom my ass ! They are still enslaved and forced to work for money in order to give most of it back to the money lenders and the terrorists calling themselves government by paying for the things created by jah god for free . they still pay governments etc for permission to do things we have god given rights to do without anyone's interference . Tell me how that is freedom and why bother thanking god in song for that ? Oh yay lm free to be an obedient slave to a system of fraud and blackmail .

That's awesome that Bernie has taken direct action . lm so tired of people complaining yet not taking positive actions to stop themselves from being blackmailed . l myself have not paid any rates , fines , water gas and electricity bills for many years now , that's part of my direct action #stoppaying campaign . if people had immediately charged their employers with blackmail this would have stopped the plandemic in its tracks .
