Throughout middle school I had a rotation of bullies that were convinced that no matter what they did, they weren't going to get punished for it. It certainly didn't help that the teachers knew about their behavior but did only the bare minimum. It shouldn't have surprised them that one day I snapped. It was in the gym and we were rolling staking around, doing a game simular to duck, duck, goose, and the bully kept trying to tell me that I was "out." I knew that was BS, and that he just didn't like the fact that I was the better skater. He kept trying to push me and get in my way, but I would just shoulder him back. Then he got so close that I hit him with the plastic guard of my wrist protector, badly bruising his nose. It set off a retaliation in him and he pushed me into the bleachers. I just started screaming all my anger from where I lay and then took off my skating gear and threw it at him, calling him and all others like him all the names in the book. I then left the gym under my own accord, saying I wish he would go to hell and stay there. I got a day in detention, but my outburst finally made the teachers do something: he was suspended.
