Great video, David! Most of what I've seen of Menlo Park and Palo Alto has been from pictures, TV and movies, mostly about Facebook, Silicon Valley or Stanford, but they seems like really nice places to visit!

Nice drive threw I used to live in San Jose the whole city is a fixer upper for me at the time it’s way to expensive to live I am sure it’s worse now in 2022 I am glad I moved out from California not trying to be critical or anything but still a nice drive through.🤠

Have fun driving anywhere now without a 2 hour delay Cons: Too many ‘Karens’ live there now. … back to the ignorant liberal thing…. Cons: Livermore 1st street had a REAL ‘old town’ back in the ‘80s. In the ‘90s they took away 2 lanes & made an artificial ‘old town’ after that.1st street is now an over-crowded un-park-able shit show. Cons: Artificial town. It’s all Karens & beta males now. FYI: Granada HS was the 'richer' 'better' High school because of it's demographics. LHS was always kinda the 'white trash' HS back then. It's not a "school Pride" thing... I was just forced to go to both when my parents divorced. Thank you for this video. I've been taking online courses on programming, thinking about a career change away from the hyper physical demand in the healthcare industry. I've been making sometimes slow, but steady progress. It's teaching me to make concrete and logical thoughts when presented with a problem.

I bought one myself a few months ago. As you say, it's a good start but I'm looking forward for their next big update. The TOR requirement makes it pretty much useless for me as you cannot use it with most apps out there. I cannot connect my bitwarden app to it. I cannot host a git server in their File app. It's painfully slow. Currently is just a container for their apps which you must use through tor browser, can't find much connectivity and because of it, not a lot of use cases for me. Also I cannot connect a usb hard drive to it to access with the file app which is kindof crazy, but I understand that is solved in next update. The TOR requirement really worries me and might be the nail in the coffin if they don't plan to go a different route.

Yet another wonderful trip down memory lane. My wife worked in the Presbyterian Church Office for many years. I have also driven this route many times. We even lived on Barneson Avenue, although I am truly shocked at the housing prices now.

We left San Mateo for Roseville and then Sacramento in 2006. I drove that road many, many times. It is great that the neighborhood still looks the same. I am not familiar with some of the newer additions in Foster City, though. Very nice video, brings back a lot of memories.

Great video.... but wow, so much has changed since I lived there in the 1970s.

One of the one things I wanted to do again before I die was to cross the GGB again; I did it once on way to see an old girlfriend in the San Joaquin Valley when I was 17; but now I am 55, legally blind, and can no longer drive again. Makes me very heartbroken by the things I truly miss in life.

I grew up there & lived there 40 years of my life before moving around toFoster City, Half Moon Bay, Modesto then to Florida as I met my lady on the internet & when my mom passed that I was care giver to for 14 years I moved to Florida to be with her. Thanks for the memories of Hillsdale Blvd. Will also check out some other San Mateo tours.

Hey, thank you for this video. I got an admit from Northeastern University, Silicon Valley. Therefore, I was looking up for such videos & stumbled upon this amazing one
