His desire for peace was in his genes. The Catholic religion says: "Let there be peace between us at all times!" I listened to this wonderfully beautiful song three times. Unfortunately, he has been singing for the Angels for nearly twenty-seven years now!

I didn't know that John Denver sang this song. The first time I heard the song was at a religious retreat called Cursillo for men. I fell in love with the song that weekend. We used to play that song for others who were doing their own religious retreat. There were several of us singing and playing guitar. And others who just sang. But it was always a beautiful moment for everyone. My son and I used to play this together sometimes. He was the one who found it on CZcams.
