@1:06: The phrasing "The slat that hangs below the marked slat," is a bit confusing, because you removed 2 slats. Overall, this could've been done much more simply. Glad I didn't rely on just this video.

Finally figured out that the top part of the bottom of the blind slides out so you can pull the knots through. Otherwise you’ll never get the cords tight. You have to fight the drawstring system the whole way. Whoever engineered this nightmare should be fired. I have installed many blinds. NONE have been so difficult to adjust the height on. 😡

The caps don’t snap out. They’re attached. No way to line up the cords with the divets on the buttons.

The machine has a mfg. defect where the thumb pushes up too close to the rotating chuck. They all do for some reason.

Even if you follow the instructions the inside mount thumb turn metal piece is garbage. Absolutely horrible design. Why can’t they provide a snapping bracket like all others? I’ve almost demolished my blinds and header trying to get this rinky dink Lego hardware to hold.

Why are you installing it in a box? If you have an actual window you can not put the bracket there it has to go on the top of the window frame.

You could have actually demonstrated the cutting. Just a lot of talking for 17 minutes.

Does this Facilitator Manual still in print? Asked our Levolor rep for one since our store hasn't had one for a while.

You need to include telling the Lowes 'trainers' to STOP teaching the employees to LOWER customer measurements by 1/2 inch! I had to return 4 blinds for all being 1/2 inch too short. Found out the problem was the employee was still using the OLD way of CHANGING the customer measurements by 1/2 inch to accommodate the metal end studs. Apparently, the machine is already compensating for this and so all the blinds are being cut 1/2 inch too short. Then, the employee suggests using TOP-mounted hardware to solve the problem, (which DOES work...) rather than just STOPPING messing up the cuts in the first place!

I watched this video at 2 times the speed in order to get through it! More info here than on any website selling it!!! Ridiculous! Too many options, I think I will stick with the fleece blankets nailed to the window trim for insulation and privacy!

Levelor instructions and video were worse than useless. Once you sorted thru the misleading info, installation was quite simple. The instructors voice was like nails on a chalk board. Booo Levelor!

OMG....I figured it out and figured I would pass it along, to help others avoid the same frustration. I lined the valence up with the window frame first and used a pencil to mark the location where the holes lined up on bottom of top window frame. The shades did not come with enough screws. I predrilled the 3 holes on the pencil marks. next I placed the valance up and screwed it in place with the center hole. then I placed the brackets plastic tab facing me on top of the valance and the predrilled holes and tightened so the tabs faced me. After securing snugly, i placed the shade by grabbing back of brackets with back rail rocking forward until it snapped in to place. Very easy to install when you get enough hardware and the proper instructions. Good luck.

Am I supposed to mount the mounting bracket to the glass on the window? Why does this fake window have a wood back where glass would normally be.

I have read the instructions and seen this video and I still don't understand where the 2 1/4"is measured from. The video clearly measures from the front of the window frame but the installer says, "from the back of the frame". The location of the bracket is critical; I don't see why this isn't explained better. There are no dimensional arrows in the instructions to clarify this even though the 4" setback from the edge is shown.
