Thank goodness I waited filled most of my reputation bar before starting this mission. During my canon playthrough, after this mission, I went to IGN to see the other choices and I was shook by the other outcomes.

@ShockwaveEXE I noticed this was "Geth VI," not Legion-- did you lose Legion in ME2, or was this playthrough using the default starting values? Would Legion still switch to saying "I" if still present, or stick with the first-person-plural like the Geth VI does?

Norman has one of two good endings. When he accuses Blake of being The Origami Killer. Resigns from the FBI and tries to lead a normal life (very unfair considering Blake is the one who instigated everything and he should've been punished not Norman). Or where he solves the case. I think it's completely worth it for Jayden to pull a gun out on Blake after all the nonsense he put him through. Not to mention Blake already pulled a gun out on Norman and threatened to blow his brains out for defending Ethan from Blake so technically it's self-defense at this point. I wish Blake had a bad ending. Norman seems to have the worst luck out of all the protagonists has the most amount of death scenes some of them being pretty graphic. While Blake has zero repercussions for his abusive antics. Blake guessed three times incorrectly who the Origami Killer was. Perry & Blake were such nuisances almost slowed down Jayden's progress. Norman is the only one with the real work. It's so satisfying seeing Blake on the receiving end for once although it wasn't for long thanks to workplace corruption (or American corruption).

The stars aligned for me on my playthrough. I destroyed the heretic geth in ME2 because I felt it was too risky and the other geth wouldn't take it personally since they're machines, and because of that their fleet wasn't so big in ME3 and I was able to broker peace with the quarrians. Synthesis is best ending.

Wrex is far from perfect and he's not that trustworthy. His kind has also shown time and again that they are irresponsible, dangerous, and can't be trusted. Mordin should've been able to be persuaded to go along with the sabotage REGARDLESS of who was around, and it's a real shame that Bioware makes you resort to being a backstabber if you're pro genophage--you can't even debate it with anybody! The genophage, after all, has quite possibly been the only thing keeping the Mass Effect universe spinning for the past 1,000+ years! I have no issues whatsoever with anybody who takes this option! It is quite possibly the safest option in all of Mass Effect, outside of the Destroy option!

so... I was romancing tali when I was doing this mission. When the game made me choose, I thought that the quarians would stop attacking and work with the geth (tali did tell the fleet to stop fighting). I picked to upload the reapers and THAT happened. I cried for like 15 minutes before restarting the mission to reverse it...

Does the campaign intersection work with this segment? If so, I can see a griefer Ada playing purposely getting caught and trolling the Chris and Piers players.

If you saw this scene in game, you failed the game.

As much as it pains me, i never wanted to kill Mordin, but he didn't leave me any choice. It had to be done. Sure, things could've worked out, but there's always a chance of a Krogan invasion after the Reapers. And i just couldn't let that happen.

I almost wish they wouldnt have given you an option. It would have at least made the ending make more sense.

Spoilers: To me this is right up there with shooting Mordin in the back, & betraying Wrex, then shooting him when he finds out.

Look I love legion too but no way would I choose the Geth over the Quarians & betray Tali like that, who has been with Shep since ME1 and also is a big reason he/she became a Spectre in the first place. My Shep doesn’t betray loyal squadmates. Plus the Geth sided with his sworn enemy the Reapers. Rather than, idk, retreat or flee to somewhere else in the entire Milky Way galaxy? Thankfully, I always get peace here. Of course, I always pick destroy so it ends up being a moot point, but it’s the thought that counts.

I just cause my beloved Tali die. Because I believe geth was rigth, i still think actually. Quarians attack themself and geth was only trying to defend therselfs. I still think geth has rigth to live but watch tali die, man. I think I cant handle this outcome.

I liked both endings because they are both written excellently. I can see value in both endings he wants to atone in this ending but now is not the time to be selfish since he is valuable and needed for the crucible project. This is basically sacrfice some for the greater good which plays back on what mordin did for the stg back when he was active he still has that mentality. The other ending he was done with it all and wanted to make a decision for himself and go out on his own terms

I'll always side with the Geth if Tali doesn't survive the suicide mission in M.E 2 and then pick destroy ending so that us humans can colonize Rannoch in the end😊

By far the scene in the game, the quarians deserved it.

I havent played through the game multiple times, but I wonder if killing Wrex and faking the genophage cure is the optimal route for war assets. Wreav is fooled and won't find out and the Salarians give their. But then again, at the end of a "proper" playthrough, you have salaraian aid on the war asset screen anyways, so I'm not sure.

With Eve dead and Wreave in charge of the Krogans this is the right choice. With Eve alive and Wrex in charge the Genophage should be cured. This is my play style which is why Wrex always survives and Marlons data is always saved. Mordins death was hard, but he wanted to atone and make things right.

God i hate this so fucking much. This is by far, the WORST scene in the entirety of mass effect. The most gut wrenching, sorrow filled moment and i can't stand watching this.

I'm guessing to do this you have to get your paragon or renegade to a high level? I know i'm like 10 years late to the party but i've just recently started playing the mass effect games and i'm now on number 3. I striaght up shot him and it broke my heart because he was one of my favourite team mates in Mass Effect 2, why couldn't they make me shoot someone i don't give a shit about like Zaeed or Legion 😂
