The joke is this: A girl is menstruating and asks the guy to perform cunnilingus to her - when he finishes, he asks “do you love me”? She says “no, but that’s a real nice ski mask”.

None laugh at the fart, but in total anticipation of the erupting fireball 😂

Two things about this scene for me after all these years: First of all, to cut to this part of the joke where all we hear is this punch-line yet have absolutely no clue how the joke could make to such a punch-line about a "real nice ski-mask" and yet be so hilarious to those in the room hearing it, is absolutely brilliant and hilarious! Secondly, the fact that this entire scene and immediate scenes before and after are his "fantasy" just takes it to a whole new level of humor for us who grew up watching this lightening in a bottle, comedy! I mean, here's this guy who's 'dreaming' about what it's going to be like when he finally finds his beloved Mary 'Sampsonite'. And yet in his little mind, he's her hero as he's kung-fu fighting people in a restaurant and killing them by ripping their bloody hearts out, while she thinks he's so amazing. But not only is he loved and adored so much by her, her friends also thinks he's "one hell of a guy", too! And so much so, that his incredibly stupid jokes about a "real nice ski-mask", doing that stupid "what's that" finger-nose-flick-trick on somebody, to finally demand all the guest's attention so that he can kick his legs and ass up on the couch and light a juicy far on fire right in the middle of a stuffy, yuppie party, while they all laugh hysterically, has them all affirming what they already know about him, and how great and wonderful a man he really is, in his fantasies, of course! As he dreams about being with Mary he can't see himself as anything other than the guy that everybody is just going to fawn all over and want to be around, so that even performing a sudden fire-lit, flaming-ass-blast on the couch in front of her closest of friends has them esteeming him in the same way she does! And so this is what's always cracked me up on a whole other level besides what's happening on screen which is already funny in its own light, because when we really stop and analyze not only what we're watching, but embrace the perspective that we're seeing all these things from the imaginations of how he thinks it's going to go down when he finally gets her, we're on a level of humor that's rarely ever been met and matched with in any comedic film! What a romantic fantasy for any guy to have that only someone like Lloyd Christmas could inspire so many of us men to want to follow, so we too could find success in life's great journey of winning a woman's heart! Thank you Lloyd! I still don't know how we could ever form a joke to get to that incredibly hilarious punch-line about a ski-mask. But I do know what to do when I'm in the beginning phases of any new relationship, and at some stuffy, white collar, yuppy, upper-class party, if I really want the girl I'm with as well as her closest of friends to not only be impressed, but think I'm just the greatest guy ever and that she can't go wrong with!
