2 Reasons for losing motivations (to draw/ study): Stuck and Behind.
zhlédnutí 62Před 7 měsíci
Hello, guys After a week of depressive episode and doing nothing, I summarise the hidden cause into 2 reasons and brought out 3 things to do if i face it again. The main problem is the pace and workload. Its ok to skip and keep a marathon mindset, as long as we maintain the overall discipline and 60-70% work. I hope new mindset will help you escape the fog of feeling lost and lack motivations/ ...

New sub! :D
Nice tutorial thank you so much.❤ Though how do ı make the selected lines dissapear couldnt get that part..??
Wait nvm did figured it out 😂
Haha! lol!
4:14 "It just follow along your line art basically with computer power" Meanwhile the computer power: 5:24
Best of luck on your exams! I know what you mean. I watch myself draw in timelapse when I am frustrated with my drawing. It helps me figure out what I am struggling with sometimes, other times it helps me feel better about my skill at the recorded moment.
Good luck with your exams! Will be waiting for your return 👍
Promo`SM 🙄
Or you could save a heap of time and just use the colorize mask tool.
Real
Just use colorize mask. Profit. You are welcome.
Nice! Recently I just notice that new function in Krita. Im also learning a new method for colouring as well. Thanks for the advice.
I think fixing those unconnected lines and using the contiguous selection tool ("magic wand" in ps) is much faster than this method. The magnetic selection method requires you to zoom in and trace the edges of the entire lineart.
4:16 "...with computer power..." Idk why, but that made me laug out loud.
You rock! Love your vids and your determination 😊
Don’t think just do is simple but good advice tbh. Thanks for making this video Chris ur a real one

Wonderous
Thank you so much for making this, super helpful! I used to have to just manually paint my colors and then erase outside the lines and it took so much time. This should speed up my process so much!
👍👍👍👍 good way to draw hair
Thanks bro ❤ from India 🇮🇳
This was incredible helpfull, +1 follower
Is this faster than using the shape tool for base colors?
Keep getting high! Complicated things are very understandable for a beginner
Your videos are some of the best! unfairly few subscribers!!
Thank you very much for the lesson. This method is a bit similar to the method animators use. I began to get better at drawing only after I took up animation. I started not only copying from references, but also trying to draw the same characters in different poses from different perspectives.
2 years? It is not enough, on average people learn around 10 years daily, preferably from young age.
So you want too much from yourself, give it time. There is no secret technique or method, you just have to draw same thing thousands of times.
I agree with what you say. Two years isn't long enough for an artist to become a professional. But, I believe that effective practice, focusing on fundamentals, can transform me from a bad to an OK artist. I genuinely believe that anyone can make significant progress in two years. However, it requires hard work-extreme hard work-and the correct method. I'm going to start looking for the 'correct method' and share it with you. If you know of any concepts/ practice that have helped you significantly, Pls let me know. Thanks for the comment!"
You can waste weeks, months or even years if you follow poor techniques, conversely, the right techniques can spare you months or years.
@@DigitalDrawing-Chris Well, I know only to do a thing a lot of times and hopefully remember how to do it. Copying is a good method. Drawing from life too. Important thing is that to have a job you dont have to be good at it, like being good at art job is not equal to being good artist, in my experience. I dont think it is bad, just nature of collective projects, everyone is a small brick in a pyramid.
@@CaptainPanick Yes, but failing is a part of life. I think right techniques are available in ateliers but at the same time if you want gamedev job or work as anime style illustrator, classic drawing may be a good base, but to learn a style you still would need years to master it. People can live up to 90 years old, I know 80+year olds who is still working, albeit it is not amazon warehouse job. What I mean, there is enough time to learn something. Unless you working two low paying jobs to pay rent and dream of doing art as a job.
This is really informative, and an interesting way to practice! I will be trying this myself when I have the chance. I always like to find different ways to observe and draw the subjects that interest me. Thank you for taking the time to make this video! 🎉
too long video tell me where video start? my english is poor so u must make a video ppl notice it without english with just watching not numbers & too many lines in ur scene
Thank you for the feedback. I've just newly started, and your viewpoint is valuable for creating my next video. I'll take these points into consideration in the future. I've added a timeline to hopefully make it clearer to watch each section with less confusion. Thanks for taking the time to drop a comment! Cheers!
Very nice explanation, thank you.
Great tutorial, firend :) Thank you!
Thank you very much for making this tutorial. The Krita manual is difficult for me to read, and your concise demonstrations are appreciated.
Wow! These are some really helpful tips. I never really knew the one with the little magnet would be so useful. Thank you.
This was really helpfull , just thanks!
Thank you so much!
Thanks you!! I'll try to do it later!!! Please continue making guide like this, it's very important for me
I'm learning a style like mignon, this is very helpful, thank you very much
krita o/
Thank you for the video, you are the first person to show me this technique, It's sped up my process considerably!
I am just new to digital art, so this video was super helpful! I love that you included shortcuts. I always wondered how people were so good at selection with freehand because I have to restart constantly from my hand twitching while trying to trace complex shapes, but now I suspect it is duplicate layer then magnetic selection tool! I'm off to look up what alpha lock is now. (I subscribed too)
Another faster way to color is using "Colorize Mask" feature in krita! It's just like fill tool but it won't spill out even if there is a small gap between your lines. You can read about that in krita documentations.
💪👍
Thanks for the video. What are you pressing to make the non selected area appear as a light red color?
after you select an area, at the top of all the layers (in the layer columns), there's a "selection mask" where you can click to view the red area. 😊
Thank you! This was helpful
thanks thats verry helpfull
Dude this saved me so much fucking time. Been searching the entire web yesterday for how to colour and it’s either a 30 min video or something unrelated (usually both actually). God bless you!
