Join me on one of South East Queenslands most incredible Hikes! More of a mountain climb than a bushwalk, Logans Ridge ascends over 1100 metres in just 5 kilometres. While Its not for the faint hearted, those that dare are treated to some of the most spectacular views anywhere!

A 19km one way hike that takes in the incredible Dirangah Rocks, Nightcap Bluff and Tea Tree Lookout over the Wollumbin Caldera and one of Australia's most famous trees - the Postman's Tree. Since doing the Mt Nardi to Mt Jerusalem hike a couple of years ago i've been wanting to 'complete the puzzle' and find a way down the Mountain on the northern side to Middle Ridge Trail. Legend local trail runner Simon Byrne had given me some inside info on the route but then the catastophic flood event of Feb 2022 happened and Mt Jerusalem National Park has been closed ever since due to wides...

    Read Secrets of the Scenic Rim by Rob Rankin, so much has been done on Barney in the early days. Logan never climbed that route. he was a fraud. I had one of the best and worst nights of my life up there, caught in a lightning storm. Eagles Ridge is one of the prestige routes, starts near the Lower Portals.
