👍 💖 🎤 🎸 I’m going on 70 now and have always been a big fan of Clapton. I ‘grew up’ with him and still love his ‘older’, more ‘classics’ like Layla and Cocaine, as well as this one (although done later on), along with his more recent songs and performances (such as his live concert in ‘23 that I went to). But THIS - with him playing and singing AND the added video background makes it my favorite yet! * I’m not implying that I didn’t like or feel the others versions weren’t good - they were/are. To me, this song shows and proves that there’s a completely different ‘side’ and style to Clapton’s more ‘well known’ one based on its meaningful lyrics and the more thought provoking, ‘melancholy’ vibe it gives (as opposed to ‘Layla’). Another winner in my book! 👏
