I disagree. I’m making more money in less time driving for Uber. I hated my full time job with a 300 mile commute a week to sit behind a desk 8 hours a day with a micromanaging boss to barely clear $500 a week? No thanks. I was able to increase my income by approximately $150 a week. I purchased health insurance for myself for $70 a month and ultimately I am more happy which is most important.
If you drive for Uber and don't have ride share insurance you are good and to regret it you will be without a car and you will not be given what's due to you for compensation this company is own by financial groups who soul purpose is to dip their hand in the pot if fare are decreasing trust it's you the driver that's taking the pay cut what over head are they paying for nothing your car your gas your insurance your time and they do is sit back watch the numbers go up it's like a ponzie scheme tell drivers they can make money pay others with the money from other drivers same time rip off a few riders here and there you will be rich

So my Prius cost $4600. My first five weeks driving Uber I made $5000 . So the company has already paid for my car the first month.. I would agree you shouldn't quit a good job to Uber full time but I have to work less with Uber now to make the kind of money I made the first month. I'm in a good market area . But people who are not in a good market area maybe shouldn't If I really drove full time in three months I would have more money saved than I did at the best job I had in my life. And it took me six months to save that kind of money. So like NEVER??? This is well meaning but there is nothing wrong with driving full time. I do have another job but it isnt reliable and doesn't give me enough money or flexibility to attend classes I need to attend.Maybe things are better, there are a lot of cautious and bitter videos made two years ago.
Well u can always do the Lyft rental program and let them deal with the maintenance. That way there's no depreciation on your personal car.

40 hours a week you mean 60hrs plus a week. You have to do this part time. But their is no such thing that you can work 40 hours a week and make money not going to happen. your car is a depreciating asset. it's loosing value regardless. why wouldn't you want to work somewhere where you can make enough money to pay off your car within months. and even have money to buy a newer one? Lyft is an awesome opportunity. idk about Uber i can only speak for Lyft as i am a Lyft driver. especially in Los Angeles. if you ask me, I think you just made this video to be able to add your driver referral code in the description box so you can make more money.

I use to work for a construction comp. as a receptionist and there was a guy working there from America's most wanted for 2 yrs before anyone noticed. I use to work very close to him and his wife and when the FBI came to get him, he ran away. and I was told the exact same thing when I asked my boss what's gonna happen to us? this guy had all our info. names, addresses, hire paperwork, etc.
