I heard this exact same station today at about 6am UTC 25 Dec 2022 from Manchester , England, same frequency, he's saying cobaka putina, dog Putin, blyat fkk, Moskva etc weird loop at start, then some guy seemingly giving the Russians insults, from what I could gather my russian/Ukrainian is about A1 level if that. Lovely radio but I have a serious problem with my PL-368 with fw version 3682, the other day I had it on charge, when I took it off charge and turned it on the AM section (MW,LW,SW) was completely deaf...even using the "hidden" feature by long pressing 3 for internal vs external antenna made no difference, it's completely useless now (except FM is fine) so is there was way to reset this radio?

Thanks for posting. Love this radio. I have the 398BT version. The backlit buttons are excellent to have. Makes a good bedside radio. I am very please with the reception on all bands. Speakers are not particularly good with music but very clear and intelligible with voice which is my primary use.

Good radio but I have Sony icf 7600gr to and Sony is better for weak signal.

I just installed CW Skimmer on my Expert MB1 and seems to be working just fine. Today is the IARU Contest and of course the CW Portion of the 20 meters is quite full. Do you happen to have any suggestions for Waterfall such as Brightness, Contrast and Gamma? Any help would be appreciated. Mark KB3Z

Hi Chris. Thank. you for this. I have had one of these for almost 2 years. It's the model for the German market that lacks air band. It's a great radio. Check out my little CZcams channel for some examples of it. As it's an old radio now, it has to be treated gently! I've already had to deal with the dreaded ERROR 3 problem. This meant, very carefully taking the back off the radio and cleaning contacts between the batteries and the receiver. I also had to replace the non-original telescopic aerial with a suitable, generic replacement off E.Bay. 73s

Hello, I have just acquired a DR28 in very good cosmetic shape, however it is only able to produce sound in FM, and dead silent in other bands. It will often read signal strength to be good, but produce no sound in. I have no prior experience with this types of radio, did I miss a setting somewhere or is something broken? Thanks

I'm trying to test decoding CW.. I'm playing a morse .wav file on HDSDR and set it's output (via Virtual Cable) to CW Skimmer. CW Skimmer's radio is set for SoftRock IF 192kbps, and the Radio Audio Input is Line 1 (Virtual Cable). The file playback on HDSDR seems to be working, but CW Skimmer doesn't show any activity. Useing the SW Cal helps clearify SSB.

I notice you have changed the tuning knob,is it off the DR 48/49? Also looks as though the SW Cal notch knob has been changed to the same type as the RF knob.I did the same with mine.I notice BFO is very weak on this model.

I have changed the SW "Cal" notch knob to the same type as the RF control knob.Far easier to operate and fitted a Coaxal female socket at the back of the radio to connect my outside antenna. Better than the clip connectors.

Alot of Heterodynes espeicaly noticed on SSB.Very good receiver,I own one,but I dont get all the heterodynes as you do.I have noticed on mine,if there is any outside electrical buzz/interferance/rain static it really interferes with the BFO on Side Band and the noise over rides the BFO signal.

Where can i find replacement potentiometers (value unknown) for the Squelch, RF gain and the SB BFO controls? The radio is a Eton Grundig Satellit 750 which is the same as Tecsun 2000. Anyone with the schematic diagram please tell me the values. Thank you so much !

I cant get the program to work correctly on linux it runs but all the menus are all screwed up. you cant read some of the text because of black lines every where and ideas?? Got it running on mac no problems just wanted to try it on linux on my other laptop
