Can you tell me how you feel about the vegan leather couch. I have large dogs… will it last.

Born and raised in North Jersey. I moved straight to Brooklyn when I moved. Yes the further back you are in jersey city the worse the area is. Although that area especially around Journal square has been gentrifying like crazy since I was a kid. I live in Atlanta now and couldn't see myself ever paying prices up there that I get for a 3 bedroom house with a big yard down here. Also this may be new but I believe they stop running the path train service over night now whereas it used to run 24/7.

Hi there. Well its 2 years later. Have you had it professionally cleaned? And how did that go? I saw this on House of Valentina's youtube channel and I want it badly. She has 3 kids, a husband and a dog and it appears its still in good shape after a couple of years. Just wondering if you are stil happy you purchased it. I have 2 sofas in mind from article the Timber leather sofa or the abisko and I can't decide LOL!

I actually live in Long Island City in a luxury building as well. Depending on what part of LIC you're in, it's not far from mid-town at all. In fact, I can drive across the Ed Koch Bridge and be in mid-town in 10-15 minutes depending on the day of the week, and it's the same with the train. I currently commute to work in the East Village and my commute is 20-25 minutes door-to-door. Because it is so convenient, a 1 bedroom apt in my building starts at $3300 per month but, we have in-unit washer and dryers, dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling windows, a doorman, pool, sauna, gym, basketball court, package room, game room, simulated golf, roof-top decks lounges, business center, pet spa, doggy daycare, dog walking services and a bunch of other amenities that I am forgetting about. There are a LOT of restaurants, transportation, and even a Trader Joe's directly across the street. LIC is SUPER convenient but, it's gonna cost you. Thank you so much for sharing and letting us know which areas to avoid. ❤

I originally seen it on Wayfair and it is advertised as "genuine leather" then I found it Home Threads also but it was advertised as "vegan leather" was wondering if they are the same. The review on Mayfair and another site are excellent but none from Home Threads. So can you give it a review for me please because its less expensive at HT than the two other sites. I just don't want to be disappointed. Thank you and great video.

Follow up: I bought the couch in blue and still looks perfect a month later :) & bought it during Black Friday. Price went down to 800. I suggest buying it around then.

How much helicopter noise do you hear from your apartment?

If you have a little more commute time, there's a light rail that starts in Bayonne, runs thru Jersey City, and does stop at a PATH station. Then continues all the way through Hoboken. Finding an apt. close to a station can find you a variety of rent prices and still a fairly short commute to NYC
