The Azores: Mountains of the Atlantic (full film)
The Azores sit at the triple junction between the three tectonic plates of America, Europe and Africa. Mount Pico, the tallest mountain in Portugal, towers as a geological wonder over the Azorean archipelago while the newer Capelinhos volcanoes at the other end at Faial, serve as a reminder of how alive and unpredictable the geology of the Azores can be.
This mini documentary takes an in-depth look into the geographical wonder that is the Azores, by going into its deepest parts as well as its highest points, to understand why people are drawn to this place, and its purpose in people's lives.
This project was self-funded, out of a personal interest for filmmaking, with a focus on educating the public on nature and conservation.

Ah man sitting in Sri Lankan for part of a surf trip with an infected insert bite that has an open wound. Kinda depressing cause I cannot surf but watching this has inspired me. I will get better. I will surf agian soon

Azores are beautiful. My first up and close freediving dolphin encounter was in the Azores and the islands will always have a place in my heart. I hope to go again this summer. I hope you have many more great dives to come!

It was a surreal experience even for me (you can check out the longer 20 min video on Azores on my channel, with dolphins at the end). 😊 Thanks and for sure, I wiill be making more videos on the Azores this year!

@edwardfronc5262 Thank you!! These projects began with my interest in the ocean, but it's evolved since then. What's also interesting, is that the "stories" I planned in my mind before filming, usually change on-site when I meet new characters or discover new places, which makes travelling and deep-diving into the history exciting. :-) Glad you liked it, and your support means a lot for me and also all of us content creators, so thanks again!! (sequels are in the works) :-D
