Hi. Welcome to the channel! My names Mark and we currently have a Jeanneau Leader 805 boat, so with the family I’ll be uploading the trials and tribulations of our boating type adventures here and maybe some boat tours and things we are doing boating wise!

Disaster, Dolphins and Dunking on the way to Yarmouth Harbour
We went on an adventure to the Isle of White and Yarmouth Harbour via the Needles light house in our Jeanneau leader 805!
But!
I had to change the alternator belt on the Volvo Kad 43 before the trip could continue!

My depth gauge said the water was 20 degrees so I had to check!

Tender filled with water over night , after close inspection it’s got a hole in it! Probably where I drag it down the slipway.

I went to fuel up Seas The Day, our Jeanneau Leader 805. Test out the head cam and test out my mooring skills.😂

@@buoytoys it’s an Insta 360 one X… older version now.. I’ve had it for a few years and have been using it whilst skiing.. It was laying in the drawer and I thought I’ll see what I can get on the boat with it.. instead of a drone. Which I don’t have🤣

Interesting, I have never had a bow thruster. Obviously, the sheer pin us designed to break if something is in the blades when you fire the bow thruster up.

Well done - great outcome for you. And respect for not panicking when it failed during what looked like a tricky docking manoeuvre. Not sure I would remain as calm if mine failed

Seas The Day was looking fine on her mooring earlier as I paddled by; bird spinner whirling & not a gull to be seen. There’s some great boat names on the Avon, “The Donk” and “Fat Betty” always crack a smile 😃 Good solo boating skills there, especially without the bowthruster!

Yeah, luckily my fuel is a little bit cheaper because I have diesel heating so I get some consession for that.
@boat-adventures My other issue is mine is 30 years old and petrol, so I can't use E10 petrol. Most on the water pumps are E10, which obviously makes them useless for me, which is a shame.

Great to see you being adventurous with the camera Matt. I used to leave my main lines tied to the pick up buoy, then there was no hassle trying to reach the main buoy. Fuel in yours isn't that much different to mine. Since I gave the mooring up to tow again, I can now fill up in costco, which saves me about £30 on each tank compared to other garage prices and much more compared to marinas
That's why smal towanle boat beterr tow. Car fuking kace nit refuling at narina
@sharonbraselton3135 my boat and trailer are 25ft long but the fuel I use in the boat and towing it is still less than my mooring costs were. So like everything it's pros and cons.

Glad you had a good day Mark. With the bird poo, I used to put a small tarp over the top of my canopy, so they made a mess of that instead

@@boat-adventures yes, I have been down that road myself then downsized again for more excitement and less costs. I know a couple of other CZcamsrs with 805's and they are definitely great boats, maybe one day for me 😄

I would have dinghy pumped up fitted on back with Davits that way any emergencies whilst out you can get of boat quickly!!!! Nice video
