I am 21 and have an online audition in 4 days. I’ve never acted a day in my life and just this week decided I wanted to give acting a try😭 hopefully this will be one of many failures!!!!

Learn your cues as well as your lines. I worked on one show where one of the actors didn't know his cues, so the other actors couldn't afford to pause while delivering their lines otherwise this guy would assume it was his turn and start saying his lines.

Actually this is the best advise you can get for any kind of work you want to do: study, study, study... So... This is also true for acting... I sometimes get selected for the jobs as extra's ... but never as actor... I think I'll start doing training, that's the best approach to get selected as actor instead of an extra ... Funny is I'm now a software developer... Like you used to be. Thank you for this good advise.

I would like to inspire other heavyset black males. I also would also like to get to the level in my career where I can present my life story. Starting out as a baby being left in a crib with premade bottles while my parents went out.....to the point I was taken by the state. I was adopted and log stroy short I struggled with substance abuse issues while working my way up through the ranks of my career. My life has been full if excitement and drama. As a father of 4 with all of my children being born of the same mother which is now my wife. The regular joe needs a good movie to encourage them to not give up and keep pursuing your dreams even in obscurity

I have always loved acting in school and in several smaller plays.

This is so inspiring, after I just got the email from my agent that said my scene for the last episode was cut and I won't be needed this week. I was so hurt but this helps me to know its ok keep moving and keep auditioning

sydney sweeney inspired me so much!! Her performance in Euphoria was just unforgettable. She came originally from a small town and her parent were not rich and she really came from a normal family and it really inspired me to keep my work up and maybe one time i get as famous as she is, who knows :D

My goal is to be on a show and/or movie, that makes people laugh, I don’t have to be the lead role even though it would be nice, I just want to make some people laugh and get some money for my mom.

Why I want to be an actor is because I love the show bunk’d. That is my favorite show of all time I love the way the actors say their lines and express their feelings. People always told me I was a great actor. That inspired me to be an actor. I always wanted to be an actor sience I was 5. 6 years later, I stilll want to be one.
