Look at nigel copsey videos on hot lime mixes. The best thing you can do is hot lime render/point the outside of your house. The more area of lime you have will accelerate moisture crossing outside to inside, and more importantly will stop most rain ingress through cracks. Can be done in stages, even a hot lime wash would massively help between now and doing it properly. Quick lime is cheap and your own labour is free. Good luck
