Switch out the brake light switch and ask them at auto zone to turn off the light. Even if you fix it it will still be on so get them to turn it off. If it stays off you're good.

Mine is close to 170,000 and still going strong.

Wondering how you got 5 lug wheels on a 4 cylinder. All 4cyl were 4 lug and the v6 3.0 were 5 lug. And that little bottle you pulled the cap off of is the power steering fluid bottle

Oil leaking into spark plugs. Head gasket bown. Transmission having problems and that's what you can see. If you have the time, tools, equipment, and know how it could be fixed for a 3rd cost of a mechanic. If not it's only good to sell as spare parts.

Mine has 201k I just replaced the radiator, alternator, power steering pump, heater hoses, vtech, thermostat, thermostat housing and oil distributor. The transmission fluid is spotless. Hoping for another 100k miles

I got a 2001 Honda accord , had for 3 Years going on 4 , regular Maintenance, 325xxx Miles and Going . Might need to replace trans soon as it Feels groggy but other than that it Runs Great! And the interior is good too so that’s always a plus .

I had a 2001 v6 auto. For 6 months. Ran great. Shifted 1-2-3-4. But, it was 2800rpm at 60mph. Each shift was a 800rpm drop approx as you would expect. Never did figure out what was up with trans.

That Accord has seen better days. I wouldn't put money into it. It's missing a lot of interior parts. I would find myself another 6th gen 4 cylinder Accord in better condition.

But few days ago I have fixed the problem myself without Dealer Scanner! First of all you need to clear ABS errors (that is the main problem why i have failed earlier). 1) Jump pins 4 and 9. 2) Press and hold the brake pedal and switch on the ignition. 3) Wait for the ABS light to turn off and then remove your foot from the brake pedal. 4) Wait for the ABS light to turn on, then press and hold the brake pedal again. 5) ABS light should turn off, then remove your foot from the brake pedal. 6) Wait for two flashes of ABS light. If it flashes it means that errors are erased. Check the errors (with the pins jumped) - just turn the ignition on, if ABS light does not flash, no errors are in memory. Now the main part. TCS neutral position setting Do not touch the brake pedal anymore. 1) Jump pin 9 to 4 2) Turn the ignition on, after ABS light turns off, quickly press the "TCS off" button. 3) After ABS light turns on again, quickly press the "TCS off" button. 4) Now shoud be a lot of different blinks and fashes and all lights ABS, TCS and triangle should turn off. The problem's solved. 5) Open the beer bottle!

I use valvoline full synthetic. But I watched the Project Farm youtube channel do the oil tests. It's very good, but not the greatest of them all. I also use Prolong Super Lubricants Engine Treatment for good measure. I've only read great things about that stuff
