MOLLY STARK PARK ... MOUNT OLGA FIRE TOWER
zhlédnutí 35Před 14 dny
The Mount Olga Trail up to the Fire Tower, proved to be a formidable opponent, for someone who uses a foot brace to hike, due to drop foot. I think I did ok. You're looking at roughly a 1.8 mile trail one way. GoPro footage is pointed slightly more down than usual , I apologize I didn't catch it, and water spot is due to me cooling down, at water faucet, at the end. I edited and sped up the foo...

This is a collaboration video between myself and the Vinpatio Company. This is a unboxing, walkthrough, and review, of Vinpatio's 19' Center Console Boat Cover. @@theebikenomad Thank you for watching. Definitely a relaxing place to set up camp .
Did you see a lot of larger gators while you were there? Trying to get my wife her first gator this season. She drew tags for this area.
@@landonandkatiestevenson3209 Thank you for watching. Anytime I have gone to fish it, I have not seen any gators, only heard them. If you go I wish you the best of luck.
Thank you for your service sir
@@kathy193 You’re welcome, and thank you.
Hello 😊
That is not a n easy walk. I camped at that park 5 years ago and did that trail to the firetower. It was foggy that day so i did not get to see much.
@@fingerlakeshiker Thank you for watching. I agree, no easy task, glad I was able to accomplish it. Definitely thinking of making that camp next year.
i like that park a lot. i have stayed there in october the last 5 years and am going again this october.
@@fingerlakeshiker Thank you for watching, this park has been great to stay at. Very relaxing. I shall return.
That is one heck of a workout
@@ErickMartinSucre Thank you for watching. It was like getting on the treadmill with a straight incline. Jumping in the lake, at the campground afterwards….priceless.
A little jealous with that fantastic weather up north.
@@ErickMartinSucre some day we need to get you up here
@@outdooradventureswithjason6275 I'm working on a few things that may allow me to travel further up north in the future.

@@tomraney2711 Thank you for watching. I hope everything runs smooth for you tomorrow, and it goes better than my first experience.
What's the average temperature up there this time of year?
@@ErickMartinSucre Right now high 80’s low 60’s. Vermont should be a little cooler 70’s/ 80’s low 50’s/60’s. I go up to VT on Sunday to camp for 3 days.

Camping out there must be amazing!
I’m actually just doing some hiking in some areas in Massachusetts for now, but I have camped in the state in the past. I’ll be headed to Vermont next week to camp, so more good content will be coming on that as well.
@@outdooradventureswithjason6275 Nice!
Where did you get those rubber connecting mats?
Hello, thank you for subscribing to the channel, and watching the video. I purchased the interlocking mats from Amazon.
I enjoyed your Tutorial on the cover. Where does the 4th strap go. Thanks
Hello, and thank you for watching. I only have 3 areas for the straps, so 4th strap would be spare, or new design from VINPATIO.
They make good covers. The one I got I used to cover my ATV. Had it for a couple of years and it still holds well. Water still beads off of it.
Thank you for watching brother. They are a great company to work with, with great products, I’m very pleased with them.
I just rewired my entire trailer. Since mine is 10 years old, the lights started going out more often and are always a pain to deal with. Also, I have a standard 20x20 garage actually measuring 19'6"x19'6". My Mako 18 lts with the swing tongue trailer fits on an angle with no problems. 👍👍
How do you take them off at the lake. in the water or out.
Hello, thank you for watching. I don’t remove the wheels at all as they simply fold back up onto the kayak, after you are done wheeling your vessel to the launch if the launch can’t accommodate a trailer. If you absolutely wanted to remove the wheels, simply pull the pin from the red base, and the wheel and bracket will detach. Then of course you will have to store the wheels in your vehicle.
I've got a 2014 18lts that I purchased used in 2016. I fish it everywhere in South FL. Everglades, Offshore, Keys, Okeechobee, and have also fished Harris Chain. It's a great boat! You'll probably get around 43 mph out of it at top speed. Curious as to what they gave you to plug the scrupper hole. That is the only real flaw on that boat.
Thank you for watching the video, I appreciate it. I’ve definitely gotten over 43, however I have 7 more hours of breaking it in so to speak, so haven’t gone full throttle yet, so to speak. Harris Chain and Lake Griffin are very close to me, I’ve been going to both to run the boat, will be headed to the Gulf soon. So I use the T plug for the scupper underneath, and I’m thinking of getting something for the drain inside the boat, as I agree with you , the design to let water into the boat, I’m not a fan of, however as we know it drains out quickly once we get going, thank goodness, another reason they don’t recommend docking this boat for an extended amount of time. Tight lines to you, and maybe I’ll see you out there.
@@outdooradventureswithjason6275 I've got the 115 Pro XS 2 stroke on mine. I can't imagine you'll get much more speed but I would love to hear if you do. Rumor is that this boat is being remodeled for 2025 and will be equipped with a 150. That would be really interesting! The drain on the deck is what I was referring to. It fills up in the rain but does easily drain once you get going. Enjoy. I subscribed to see what you do next. 👍
Much better!
Thank you for watching, and thank you brother, it was great to be out on the water again
That suuuuucks!
Should be fixable., I’ll let everyone know what it is in tomorrows video.

thank you so much Jason for highlighting Nobles' Marine. We appreciate you so much!
You’re very welcome, and thank you and all your staff, for making the buying experience very smooth.
That thing is awesome! And you'll likely be out there far more often.
Thank you brother, that is the plan. This will help us reach more goals that we have.
Have there been any changes or fixes to these issues on the manufacturing side as of now? Are any of these problems fixed if I bought a new kayak from them?
Hello and thank you for watching the video. I have had no issues since the new hulls came in, they corrected the issue with the steering cable, it was a part, that they had added during assembly,at factory, which wasn’t necessary. Now new for this model, they offer the seat tray underneath and floor grips in the stern on new models.
The numerous times I have taken my mother to Florida and back on the Auto Train we only had 1 delay at the old Sanford station. That time we arrived by noon in a line by the station and they sent out a golf cart giving out bottled water and advising the train was late. By the time the train arrived and unloaded and was reconditioned ready for the trip north it was 7pm. the first dinner service was being served once train was underway. It was 6am when the train stopped to change crews. Many were irate at being so late and missing family events up north that evening. They did feed us something around lunchtime that was left from the previous nite dinner. When we deboarded in VA they offered us paperwork for a partial motel reimbursement if we lived far enough away. We normally stop at Pine Grove Pa that 1st nite ,but we didn't make that far. We live in NY up 81 by the Canadian border. Due to that trip I learned not to travel at the last minute to your destination in case of delays. Would still recommend the Auto Train.
That was a nice catch
Thank you brother, I appreciate that.
That is part of Harris Chain I fish a lot of Bass tournaments in last 30 years thank you for sharing I give up the boat and tournaments 5 years ago so I started kayaking great video
Thank you for watching, I truly appreciate it. This lake is separate from the Harris Chain. Just a note * some areas are very shallow. Great for kayaking, canoeing, John boat, or inflatable. The sign at ramp states no airboats and motors must be 40 horsepower or under..
The weather has been wacky this year, very unpredictable.
Makes it hard for us to plan trips.
@@outdooradventureswithjason6275 Same here.
Under 40hp makes it doable for me.
Thank you for watching. Yes sir, great launch for you, as you can park right at ramp like we did. Also they have good hiking trails in there if you just want to do that.

AWESOME JOB GUYS! Thank you for noticing the passion our teams have for trees 🎉 🌳 ❤
Sitting out on our deck, looking up at that tree, and we are loving the great work that was performed.
They are masters at this stuff. They find ways to make tree branches fall down in a very smooth way.
No doubt. They we definitely the right crew for this job. No complaints at all.
Thanks for showing me how to connect it to the back of my seat.
Thank you for watching the video, and sharing your feedback.
Speeding up the footage makes it quicker. That's a cool tactic!
I cut out clips, and edited best I could to give everyone the simplistic overall view. Speeding it up cut it from being over an hour.

@@jamielarcombe1086 Thank you brother I truly appreciate the kind words. Thank you for watching the video as well
@outdooradventureswithjason6275 always brother
I also had a terrible experience, delayed by 3 hours plus due to their technical issues. I think for me, not being in control of moving or not was the most stressful. At least when u drive u are in control of your own car barring any major traffic. In a train u are at the mercy of some unknown delay that will never be explained to u.
Thank you for watching the video, and sharing your experience.
Heck yeah!
UGH! It would have been easier, cheaper and faster just to drive from Sanford to Hershey. Including staying in a hotel mid-way. I have driven by myself the 800 miles from Los Angeles to Albuquerque nonstop, well, only stopping for gasoline and restroom breaks. I packed a cooler with sandwiches and drinks. I've done that close to 12-hour drive nonstop about 5 times.
I like your video, ok? It helped me figure out how to mount it, ok? I appreciate the help OK!
Thank you for watching, I’m glad my review of the product helped
On my 12' Slayer I trashed the center bar. I placed a 3/4" plywood template to the underside and "sandwiched" the plastic with two trac mounted bolts and two 3/8" bolts with body washers. Been almost two years now with NO issues or signs of stress!
Hi Jason you did a great job it looks really nice. Was there a way to secure the "legs" to the ground? I want to put my dogs outdoor kennel inside something like this but her kennel is dead bolted to my patio and I am afraid someone would steal this if I couldn't secure it.
Thank you for watching. This canopy comes with stakes to secure it into the ground, however I see no reason as to why you can’t use some kind of bolts or screws to hold the legs in place on a structure such as a patio. There are 2 holes on the bottom of each post, so 8 screws or bolts should do it, plus you have the 4 tie downs, one each side of the top corners for extra securing. Now depending on which state you live, you may not want to leave this structure up full time. I don’t see it doing well in snow and ice conditions.
@@outdooradventureswithjason6275 okay thank you so much for your response . I am from Vermont so I would most definitely need to take it down around November . I will keep that in mind and keep my tools handy for unsecuring it. You have sold me on this pop up. You made your space look great . Thanks for the review it helped me make my decision ..
