i dont think this decor goes with the grey walls. i know grey is what everyone is painting their walls these days, but i find it a cool color that works for a modern look & not conducive for a cozy farmhouse vibe. imo.

Just did a similar project but didnt have any 4x8 boards. I just cut two 2x4's together. And used hot glue for the sisal rope.
