@@ambientx7 a ninja uses whatever he or she has at their disposal. Trickery and cunning is what makes a ninja, not their toolkit. As long as you have dark armor/clothing, the trick mirror, and the curl up emote, any build can be a “ninja”

@@ambientx7 I do have to commend you for your commitment to going only physical with damage, but it is a bit limiting especially with your choice of weaponry. The smithscript daggers are mainly good for harassing an opponent or taking them down when they’re at very low hp, that fight you had in farum azula against the host and the blue could’ve been ended significantly sooner if you had a weapon that packed a better punch to hard swap to. Bloody slash is a good option to have but you don’t really have the FP to use it any more than sparingly, I would at least recommend having the blessed blue dew talisman to swap to when you’re low in FP as you could regen it while continuing to harass from afar with the smithscript daggers. Starlight shards are another good option too even though they are finite, unless if you hack them in to have as many as you like

@rawquazza1321 no. Those 5 extra points makes all the difference between the target surviving or dying. I don't want the damage to the daggers buffed. That will cause the target to notice their health more. The chipping damage is meant to set them up for bloody slash

i mean, its a fun way to play. i have a char called hank the shank that runs around stormveil with a +25 misercorde. it is without honor tho, that is undeniable. honor is a set of rules that people abide by in order to showcase martial skill and tradition. sneaking up and stabbing someone in the back is not honorable combat. fun as fuck tho

@@jarreththomson4535 An invader should never be seen as "honorable", there is nothing honorable about being an invader. If you don't kill the host like in the video, you would kill him by waiting for him at the top of some stairs, in a corner, in the distance with the "great golem bow" by making him fall into the void, etc. The invader is not a duelist, he could be one at will if he wants, but his original purpose is not that. The only thing that would be bad would be using bugs or glitches to win at any cost, that would be considered "dishonorable"

@SIDDHARTH3K no that would not be better. You can't out damage there potions with throwing daggers. The throwing daggers seem weak. Which is good. They're great for chipping damage. Setting your target up for bloody slash. Your target wont keep wasting potions on light damage. Which causes them to overlook their health. On occult, bloody slash is at its strongest and so are your sleep pots.

You can counter invisibility by using sentinel torch 😉

@@bulle0823 Yes, let me melee with my RADAHN GREATSWORDS There are plenty of work arounds, if you can't use them and adapt to a new situation, then yes, that's a massive skill issue. You don't need to lock on to hit things.

@GMan-ou9ht yes they can hear it. It's best to apply it when you're a little far off. If you're using the throwing daggers, it doesn't matter. They're about to die. If you're back stabbing, then the preference is not to let them hear it. When they're in a fight with the NPCs, the battle noise can mask it.

The reason is because when you stack them you cannot be locked on to

@aidanfurst8512 neither will work alone. They only work mid to long range. Once you're close, you're completely visible. Using both makes you almost invisible at any range. Which is why I get the back stab.

@@ambientx7 Ah good to know! I knew that combining both is an exploit which disables lock-on at any range, but had no idea that you only remain invisible up close when both are active.

I still hit him with my slash. He would have survived either way. But the sniper added to my target's frustration. Which I welcome

@@ambientx7 I just meant that the critical damage applied when you hit a target after sleep triggers was applied to the arrow that hit the dude right as it happened instead of the slash art of war damage. If the slash got the critical damage instead, he'd likely have toppled. The sniper did, however, add to his frustration and kept him from chasing you as readily which is a good thing overall.
