The March from Superman The Movie - Concert Version Written by John Williams Recreated with virtual instruments using the Hal Leonard score as reference. In this version I've tidied up the midi, corrected many errors from my first version. i think the Samplemodeling instruments sound great in this piece. The SM strings add a bit more of a natural sound than the EW legato patches alone, e.g. the...

James Bond Theme Midi Mockup - Infinite Winds

Monty Norman's James Bond Theme recreated with virtual instruments. Changed the instruments from CHH to the Infinite libraries, and changed some of the timing and dynamics from my previous version. Tried to stick closely, rhythm wise at least, to the original 1960's version. The guitar I used is a little bit drier and less saturated - and I've probably got some of the horns wrong - but think it...

I'm curious. Did you use sheet music or a inported midi? Or did you do this all by ear? Either way, well done! 👏
Thanks. I created the midi from the sheet music and did it all by programming, as I'm a terrible, terrible keyboard player - it took quite some time. I've tried finding midi files for other projects I've worked on, but always end up finding the conductor's score and starting from scratch.
@louboe @louboe You din't even use a keyboard 🙉 That's so cool! Thanks for answering my question btw 🤗.
It's very, very good, I only wish there would be end-all be-all strings sample library that didn't need layering with another, maybe the upcoming Vista II will finally achieve this...
Maybe Audio Modeling SWAM String Sections can do it now?
❤❤❤
I ❤ this song
This is fantastic and better than the first version!
Outstanding!!
GREAT WORK! the run with string and clarinets is excellent.. and the choir too.. Nice work!!!!!!!!
What a great sound !
Yeaaaah!!! Very good work! Sounds amazing.

Of all the actors that ever played the role of Superman, Christopher Reeves is the face of Superman.
Hola Clart kenn Superman ojalá más y major y bien de dios
This is great! If I may, as a fellow user of SampleModeling Brass, square-shaped dynamic contours should only be used in very specific circumstances, and only as an exception to the rule. Generally, orchestral players are taught to give notes a smoother contour. One of the things that makes SM Brass so great is how playable it is - you can sculpt every note! When you listen to music, listen carefully to musicians’ choices in phrasing. Listen critically to the nuances of performance.
Excellent!

The best version I've ever heard! 🍻🍺
Thanks! Apologies for not replying sooner. I've just uploaded a newer version which I personally think is much, much better - check it out and see what you think.
Hi there, nice work! Are you able tell us the VSTs you used?
Hi there, thanks! I used Infinite Brass and Woodwinds by Aaron Venture and Hollywood Opus for the strings and perrcussion.
You are a genius sir
Thanks! But really I just programmed it in. The real geniuses are JW and the creators of the software I used!
Very nice 😊 Love AV infinite series
HI!! NICE BRASS!! hey could you check out my version hope you like it! thanks! czcams.com/video/vTSI5rHs1sY/video.html
Damn you really made those Vsts sound natural! Good Job!
Thanks!
Very nice mockup my friend!!! 0:09s This is amazing, have you used articulations in sforzando??? Some time ago I also made a mockup using cinebrass and samplemodeling, CCS and CCSS and cinebrass percussion. I love your mockup, for my taste it lacks a bit of reverb. Great job! Greetings.
Thanks! I haven't used any articulations for the brass or winds, as these are the Infinite plug ins - I drew in the modulation and played with the velocity until I got the sound I wanted. I find reverb is such a tricky thing to get right, and I'm still really a complete novice when it comes to mixing and mastering! If you have your mockup posted I'd love to listen to it.
@@louboe For a newbie sounds very very good! I'm also a rookie. I don't have a youtube channel, I'm embarrassed ha ha ha. But if you want to listen to my mockup I upload it to another site. Never finish it, someday. Do you have an email that I can send you the link?
BUENISIMO BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
That's great! All VSTis? You should tackle Goldfinger next!
Thanks. All VSTis. Mostly infinite brass and woodwinds. Goldfinger would be a good one to do in the future - currently working on the flying theme from ET :)
@@louboe oh cool! I wrote out the ET end credits last fall (piano reduction) and have been looking for an excuse to put it up for orchestra to get a better grasp of my own DAW. You should do a Patreon page and share your projects. I'd contribute.
@@efs797 will look into the Patreon page when I have a little more time, but happy to share the project file or midi when complete
That’s awesome dude
