The world is an amazing place, yet most of us see so little of it. Whenever you can, 'Venture, Near and Far', and sample whatever you can, whenever you can. We aren't full time world travelers, professional v/bloggers, or in the travel business at all. We're just every day folks with a thirst for some realistic (ad)venture, willing to travel to find what we can, both near and far. After all, we miss so many great experiences that are close by and even on our doorstep, so our aim is to venture out and sample what the world has waiting for us. We hope you come along.
Egypt in two days, inside the Pyramids and travelling around
Here’s a lightning fast trip through Egypt in only two days. You’ll travel to the Pyramids and even go inside as you follow a quick trip through this great, ancient country.
Two days can’t do justice to this magnificent place, but two days are better than none, so here’s how to make the best of it.
We used a tour company that included hotel, guide and our own dedicated transport. Without a dedicated driver, going on our own it wouldn’t have been possible to see as much as we did, so it’s highly recommended you try the same.
A word of advice that we didn’t know, and now you do, make sure to get as many details of your trip ironed out and ‘sorted’ before you go to avoid disappointment and extra expenses. Prices here are lower, which makes it more affordable, but there are a multitude of ways extra costs are added, and when you add tips on top of that, the price can easily add up to more than you planned.

I was born in Cairo.How come you did not visit the better parts of Cairo like Heliopolis, El Madi? Why just the poor areas? That is like someone showing the Whitechapel District of London and characterizing the entire nation as emblematic of the area.
