SAD BUT STILL GREAT GUY!
Legend !
Thank you for sharing this.
I love boxing not into ufc or wrestling and have never heard of this guy but what a fantastic doco and really heart felt genuine guy! Its one of the best doco's ive seen in a while! Just a genuine guy with human floors like all of us! Thanks and love to his loved ones! God bless you all! I went through horrible drinking and heroin addiction but jesus tought me the truth! That is to help and treat others with respect and that takes your eye off the self pity we all feel! Life is not about self its about helping and treating others with love! The truth will set you free! Thats a fact! 🙏🩵🕊
Enjoyed watching Evan Tanner fight. Sad to see what he was going through and how it effected his friends and loved ones.
It's hard to explain but when you are a kid and you don't receive the love and affection from a mom a dad then you will have a hard way of showing love and affection and your feelings on the person that you love because how can you do something yourself if you never experienced it yourself.
Really enjoyed this doc
He's not stupid. I can tell by his grammar alone in his writing that he's not stupid.
I think there nuggets of brilliance in evans ramblings and chael knows it damn well too.... someday id like to see chael drop the act....he seems smart and likeable
He seems like a strange, kind and endearing guy. Unique for sure
chael is a horrible person Evan was a champion and a very thoughtful human being. Chael didnt accomplish half of what evan did. Pathetic.
So happy this finally got posted. Power of One 🙏 RIP Evan🙏🙏
It was very sad and of course Chael shits on his grave
Oh my god! Thank you for posting this!!! Even was my absolute favorite fighter ever!!! Rip wild man
Great doc.
Crazy to think Phil Baroni killed his gf & is locked up in a Mexican prison.
Sounds like one of those guys who is really tough but is a gentleman thru and thru
Evan still pays no rent $ and has space in chaels head! Resentment is not healthy Chael.
I hate Phil baroni.
Legend.
He was a stud and seem to be a great guy and humble... gone way to soon.. RIP
Chael is pure garbage.
Clearly a special person. Flawed and all that but he did leave his mark. We all will be fortunate if we do the same. Tragedy or not. He didnt hide his junk.
Evan beat Terrell so bad he never returned to fighting
I believe that Evan battled with social anxiety . The reason I say this is because I recognize his behavior in my self . I’m a loner and find it easier to self isolate with a book. When I was around others , I felt like I was in a mental prison and alcohol was the key to escape . It allowed me to express myself and show more emotion, also it seemed like people enjoyed being around me more . I’m not the best communicator in person but find that writing gave me more time to think of what I really want to say without the anxiety interfering. Anxiety can be debilitating and when you don’t want to impose on others , you suffer in silence .
Im not sure what Chael gets out of talking shit about a dead guy. Randy Couture has always been a class act.
What did he say
Evan was my 1st mma hero. He really got me into mma back in 2004
So Chael is saying he's a moron and everyone else says he's a genius.
Man i loved this dude
R.I.P CHAMP!
Tanner acts like a guy that has been molested as a child....its really sad....and it's a bigger problem than anyone wants to admit
That was an awesome film. What a true warrior.
Thank you 🙏 God bless Evan Tanner
Fascinating film. ET...what a complex hero.
Miss u Evan Team Quest 2002-05❤
I loved to watch him fight. I was really sad when he passed even though I didn’t know him personally, something about his life made a connection to mine. RIP Evan. You definitely made an impact on the world.
i hate to hear bad stories about ppl i have looked up to or admired at some point in my life. Evan was a beast among men but Life can be cruel to anyone if you let it.
Beautifully done. Bravo 👏 👏 👏 👏
So all of team quest was on steroids
rest in peace Evan
So sad, he was one in a million. @onceiwasachampion (minor note) if you have a chance to re-render the titles in subsequent releases 'fiancée' is female, fiancé is male. American English doesn't require the accent but should still be two 'e's.
I met Evan in a bar in Oceanside, CA. I was sitting with some friends at the bar, and he was next to me. I didn't even know who he was. A guy next to Evan told me who he was, and i said ok. We talked to each other like human beings and had a great time. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Evan, not UFC Evan.
Our childhood, very often unbeknownst to us, leaves marks we sometimes never identify. We fight our demons in many ways. Or at least we try. And at times It may appear as if we've won, but these things of seemingly unknown origin always find their way back into our psyche. I can relate to Evan in regards to that inner struggle. My goodness, this was hard to watch, but much needed. Kind regards from Ohio.
Bravo, very well done. I am a huge Evan Tanner fan. Followed his MMA journey from beginning to end. R.I.P. champ.
R.I.P. EVAN.
do got that tony hawk hair cut in his 80's
that music ruins half the video
Never thought I could relate to a champion… 😔
man i remember this whole doc was a clusterfuck. always had funding issues, distrobution issues, couldn't deliver on products. wasnt there a kickstarter or some funding that never made good on anything also? never came out with the blurays or dvds or anything. always had a distrobution deal coming but just never happened. never went to streaming like it was supposed to. i think it was on ppv for like half a second. i remember the ball being dropped on this thing in a massive, massive way. while it is a great documentary and was made well and should be seen, it's vastly undermarketed and missed the boat. whoever was in charge of all of that needs to hire a team next time. hopefully by FINALLY putting it out there for free and eating the loss from well over a decade ago, people can hear and see evan's story. but unfortunately these guys are long in the past for most mma fans. most fans now cant even tell you forest griffins name, or were around to see silva in his prime, or rampage, chuck, hughes, franklin, bj, etc. etc. sport is passing these guys by fast. and evan is a million miles below those guys so, very unfortunate timing with it all.
dang nice tribute to Evan Tanner. RIP God Bless his family & friends that contributed to this production
