It really seems that the "marmite" reception has been tilting ever more toward "beloved all-time fan favorite" in recent years. Perhaps that's just what I'm getting from the Doctor Who Twitter community, but I think Ben's opinion here is a **lot** more out of step with most fans today than it would have been in 2008! At least the blow was softened a bit by Ben absolutely **loving** Forest of the Dead. :P

You know, "The Gloom" is actually a pretty good name. It would probably stick in the memory of an average viewer a lot better than Vashta Nerada! A genuine naming hit from Ben, who often provides hilarious nonsense like "Squibbly-Dibbly"... but we love him for that. ;)

I became interested in reading the Time Machine for the book was in my library via iBooks, then I thought to try and listen to a few audio readings and then I thought "Wait, didn't that Steven guy make a recording?" And lo and behold you did! And a wonderful recording it is. I like how your audio books have a bit more 'bells and whistles' to them compared to what you'd normally find on something like Librivox or something. Well done! 👍
