I haven’t really had a chance to talk with anyone about this, but will anyone please discuss with me about how much of a bad ass Isaac is man was a regular engineer and he decided to say screw it I’m surviving and there ain’t nothing you can do about it went through a whole ship killed hundreds possibly of Necro morphs and not a single person was able to stop him Mercer could have but that guy decided to let the hunter do it and can we keep in mind if you have the weighted blades upgrade you can literally just bully the hunter
Going for achievements, this is the spot where you can (for some bizarre reason) get the "Wishbone" achievement. (It is for using kinesis and rip off a limb on a Necromorph.) Pulling the leg or arm on a suit and it pops. :) (Another place where this works great is the spot in chapter 2 where you get the shock pad and fought off the necromorph wave. The suits in the room with the workbench you can pull off the same trick)

It’s like they took what was great about Dead Space 2 and successfully melded it with the old goat known as the first Dead Space game. Both of which we all remember. Issac survived so much! Nostalgia! 😎
Not all the great things but enough to refine a classic. I played all Dead Space games as part of an annual year-end marathon, and I can say it’s a modern masterpiece. There are some small details I wish made it from all three classic Dead Space games, but I am satisfied nonetheless with this remake. Green glow on CEC logos (DS1) Tutorial voice (DS1) Stun-locking necromorphs (DS1/2) Classic aim (DS1/2/3) Helmet glow (DS1/2/3) Exploder necromorph wail/glow/instakill (DS1/2/3) Necromorphs playing dead (DS1/2/3) Necromorphs sneaking (DS1/2/3) Puker necromorph (DS2/3) Charging slasher necromorphs (DS2/3) Retracting helmet (DS2/3) Smooth movement (DS2/3) Smooth Zero-G activation (DS2/3) Smooth melee animation (DS2/3) Lurker Speed (DS2/3) Devil’s Horns reload animation (DS3) The helmet being simple works for Isaac’s engineering suit because people can see it as CEC being cheap, but the soldier suit is supposed to be super advanced, so it doesn’t make sense to leave this out. They already have custom models and animations for different suits. I’m sure a retracting helmet wouldn’t’ve been an issue. I hope Motive is motivated enough to work on the next Dead Space game, whether it be a remake or a new game altogether. I know I’m excited.

Necro's don't tend to make noise if they're behind you Slashers charge, just not as often on account of less stagger (which is welcome imo) movement IS pretty smooth I don't see any huge issues with the zero G stuff Melee's also probably the most responsive of any dead space games I maybe agree with the exploder and lurker tweaks, though the others seem not all that important really. I'm surprised the one thing you didn't mention thats honestly the BIGGEST loss is the lack of dynamic vent travel from the necro's.
The developers did really knew what they are doing. I fucking hate these titles.

Lol, I feel ya. All my clips have collectively less than 100 views, the hearthstone one was a compilation of best moments from years of games. I get 1200 views from just blowing up barrels in BG3..

Trying to get the Wishbone achievement I see... Well to do that you need to be in chapter 2 and kinesis the LEGS of the suits in the chemical lab just before encountering the lurkers
Fun fact, if you come back later in the game to the lab and this place, the suits are gone. It’s assumed remaining survivors took them to escape.
I keep wondering how anyone survived in this ship except maybe Mercer who had that powerful stasis device.
I think someone would have noticed if anyone escaped, considering there is nothing to escape with. I mean that's the whole game, trying to escape. But people will see glitches and say it's the markers work, so yeah ...
@@CellStudios55They probably just ran around with tools as weapons. Look at Isaac for example; he is just an engineer. He had a team guide him around, but I’m sure he could’ve hacked doors and figured out what was wrong with the Ishimura had he been a crew member. Temple was doing basically the same thing as Isaac until Mercer ended him.

I hate that Dead Space is still the best pure horror game out there after a entire decade. Don't get me wrong, I love the game but the only other game to genuinely freak me out within the past decade would be Iron Lung and a couple of other *_really_* indie developers and that's a real tragedy. AAA studios have all this tech and yet their games lack soul. No fun, not scary, not cool, not interesting just money. why do we even put up with some of these AAA studios when a game from 2 generations or more are genuinely more fun and innovative to play. At least Bethesda seemed to have seen this coming since they just keep on rereleasing Skyrim instead of making Elder Scrolls VI.
I think outlast deserves props that game was pretty scary..the 2nd game tho idk
