It’s your first laundry delivery! That’s exciting! But, we get it. This whole pick-up and delivery laundry concept is new. Here is what to expect with your first order.
How do you get started?
Create an account by downloading our app (www.thefolde.com/download/)for either iOS or Android devices. If you do not want to download the app, you can order online (www.thefolde.com/order/).
Enter your contact information, set your cleaning preferences, detail your preferred location for pickups and deliveries, add your payment information, and schedule your first pickup.
How do you get the laundry bags?
We encourage our drivers to keep things safe and contactless. Most people opt to not be present at their pickups anyways.
With your first order, you will leave your laundry in disposable bags for our drivers to pick up. Please avoid sending your laundry in hampers or on hangers - both can be damaged in transport. When we return your clean laundry, we will include your personalized laundry bags. Once you have these laundry bags, you can stuff them full at your convenience for future orders.

How do most people use The Folde Laundry Service?
There is no one size fits all solution - but here is a start.
Most families use The Folde every week which allows them to get their clothes on a predictable rotation of about 1-2 bags per week. However, on the other end of the spectrum, there are some people who like to let their laundry pile up - meaning they only need one big order per month.
Some use it less as a replacement for their washing machine and more as a quick ‘get out of jail free card’ when things really start piling up. In that crowd, there is a big group of folks that only send their sheets and towels during their seasonal deep clean.
The point is delivery laundry is really a day-saver. Everyone can use some help lightening the load! But it isn’t a one size fits all service. Test it out a couple of times and see where you find your sweet spot. Wherever it is, we’ve got a spot for you.

Nice video except you don't go over how to fold the fitted sheet from the very beginning. And I will challenge you that I'm Excellent at folding sheets especially fitted! You also don't go over how to fold hooded towels. When you have babies and toddlers their will be hooded towels! And I have a unique way of folding them where they show up in one tiny beautiful square! Anytime someone sees this they can't believe that I can get the towels to look like that!
Great video! Tip about socks! Place them in a lingerie bag or bags and you will never loose one again. This works especially well for baby socks.

I sadly😢 admit I have worked at a laundromat for some time, I never was properly shown how they wanted their finished products to look like or represent.. I learned from Ytube and laundry magazines.
Some laundromats don't help their employees much. It's sad! We love laundry and we love training everyone properly.

Where can I purchase the bags from?
Cleaner Supply is a good place to start. However, there are plenty of smaller vendors out there too.
What hangers do you use for "collared shirts, dresses & blouses"? TIA
There are 4-5 different SKUs of hangers we use depending on garment type and size. Fabriclean or Cleaner Supply is a great place to start your search.
