Eve did say they would consume each other if they were together..and they would have. Eve got closer to being an assassin then Vinelle could have changed. I loved this series for 'the unexpected.' Even to The Creation hands in the sea that never touched..I am curious how the character of Eve could go on...the intensity of their relationship was so profound, pathological and beautiful.
