I love this podcast, but the way you say “sure” “ok” “ mhm” when a guest says something is annoying and it makes it feels like your not listening coz you move to the next question as fast as possible.

A 'new' Saudi Arabia, then? Promising beginning, I would say. It's a transformative change from a not-too-distant past when virtually ALL women had to be cloistured, confined to homes and having no exposure whatsoever to any kind of professional (or otherwise) life outside their four walls. There Are some women now, like these ladies here, venturing into a man's world, may be even competing with them. Not in enough numbers, though, to effect a fundamental change. Bin Salman, the visionary who has the responsibility to effect that change, can do so by offering high number of scholarships for women's education abroad, outside the Saudi environment, but hasn't done so in any great numbers. It is demographically safe______ most of them would definitely come back for family and careers at home_______ but not safe politically and socially. He is, perhaps, dogged by the question that how would Saudi men react towards these foreign-educated, newly emancipated women. Education in any good environment of learning, is good. But a western education in particular, does a world of good to the ability of a person, man or women, to serve the society. You may have noticed that in this series of interviews also. Saudi Arabia, as well as rest of the Gulf countries, have been well served by a generation of princes and scions of important families that were educated in the West but came back to build their countries to present prosperity over the foundations their founders, the wise old men of the desert, had created. About time not just the 'princes', but (especially) 'princesses' of the ordinary households got that chance too.
