Although being a classical guitarist I thoroughly enjoyed playing this beautiful Martin guitar built in 1921. Didn't have a better idea than to play this Tarrega prelude which demonstrates a wide range of positions etc.

    For those who know, it looks ridiculous to see someone going through the trouble creating this video. But before I learned classical guitar I didn't know why there were two different kinds of guitar. I purchased Guild D50, a dreadnought, to teach myself classical guitar. Now, I can look back and laugh at my ignorance.

    Ma kuulsin esimeseks T. Kõrvitsi kontserti sel aastal Narvas 26. märtsil - Concerto semplice oli mängitud kitarristist nimega Kirill Ogorodnikov ja Narva Sümfooniaorkestrist. Kohe pidasin silmas Kõrvitsi atraktiivse muusikastiili, sest see meeldis mulle väga!

    Thanks for this. So it seems I have a classical guitar, with steel strings.. that's odd but ig I'll have to roll with it Btw👇 God LOVED YOU so MUCH that He sent His only son to die in YOUR PLACE so you won't have to die under Gods judgement but live forever IF you fully trust in Jesus, now that he's risen. Please repent from thinking wickedness 🙏🙏🙏

    Well this solves a lot of mystery, I was given a guitar and was told it was an acoustic, and I tuned it, used positions and learned it like it was an acoustic but I had my fair share of mysteries as to why I couldn't get similar vibratos and sound at some points despite doing everything told in tutorials and lessons online...turns out I played a classical guitar like an acoustic the whole time. Just learned today what it is. Good thing classical guitars can be played like acoustic guitars, but I feel quite dumb only learning about it now.

  • @luise8701
    @luise8701 Před 4 lety

    To all the beginners out here: start on a classical. Nylon strings are softer on the fingers, high action makes it harder to play. Stick to it for the first months and you’ll get good real quick. I’ve been playing for a few years now and my classical is still my training ground, I know that once I can play a song on the classical I’ll be able to play it in any guitar I ever come across.

    definitely the sound of a classical over acoustic. but he question i have is it harder to play on a classical guitar ? am a complete beginner

    • @iliabashel
      @iliabashel Před 4 lety

      yes and no. classical's advantage for beginner is that nylon strings are much soft and nice for fingers than steel string so at the start you will get lesser pain. acoustic's advantage is that you will need less finger stretching for chords because strings are set much tighter to each other. but this is also disadvantage in some ways because you are going to learn it easy way and you might end up like that guy who only plays wonderwall on guitar.

    • @shayanibrahim4127
      @shayanibrahim4127 Před 4 lety

      @@iliabashel thanks a lot for your response mate, just one last question, does this mean that chord switching would be harder on the classical due to its wider distance between each string ? I mean I do have problems with finger placement and flexibility, but I also have problems unintentionally touching unwanted strings because of how close they are.

    Classical guitar for me. I am half Greek and Spaniard, but my parents divorced soon after I am born. My sisters and I had the privilege of spending every summers with our mother in the south of Spain. My mother’s father was a luthier since he was a teenager, learning under his father. I can always remember how he always smelt like wood, and the room in his house with was dedicated to his work. Filled with guitars, hanging finished and unfinished everywhere, and a lot of tools that I don’t know their name. I was really lucky to have the chance to hear and see some of the most talented flamenco dances and guitarists in all the world, who, naturally would be in Spain.. My heart has and will always choose to love the classical guitar. Para siempre 🇪🇸.
