Stone Glacier exists to elevate the experience of mountain hunters. We are a team of passionate hunters committed to this pursuit, to creating innovative technical gear, and to providing a customer experience that is second to none.
Student of the Game
Three members of the Stone Glacier team level up their shooting under the expert guidance of Modern Day Sniper, taking the skills and mental discipline honed at the range into the field to make every first shot count on the hunt.

Awesome video! Thanks. Hopefully you will run more NRL matches. Greetings from Austria
Super inspired by this...the history, the story and the mission. I'm in Indiana. 8 year 0331 Marine Machine Gunner. 15 year LEO and current sniper team leader and avid hunter.Really curious of the insurance company you use...I'm done waiting. Gonna get an LLC, insurers and go for it. So many younger fathers/sons/mothers could benefit from a local Indiana training program. It's time to instruct. This IS the catalyst...thank you! Keep pushing.
Making so much noise but the bear don’t even run or make any reactions 😂😂😂😂 come and hunt in my place you won’t even get a blind snail if you hunt like that 😂😂😂
Ddnt even shot an arrow but killed a bear 😂😂😂 which means they ddnt kill , it was a dead bear 🐻 r someone else shot with a gun 😂 nice photoshop , this advancement in technology has forgotten our four hardworking ancestor 😢😢😢😢
What is the name of the tan pack? The tan pack with tan straps looks really good but I cannot find it on your website?
Good job
nice video
This is an awesome daypack!!
Love it! I finally drew a Wyoming tag, heading out in September!
great video, love that you told & showed the whole story. congrats on a great high country grey ghost!!!
What is that Velcro pouch he opened up that had all of his reloaded ammo, that is sweet.
Suppressors in california? You're braver than me
Stone Glacier hit it out of the park with the bino harness! Love this harness…..the regular size is perfect fit for my Swarovski EL 10x42.
I’ve recently come across this channel and this guy and he is an absolute savage man! Sheesh.
Don't get too good, everybody! They'll be no animals left 😂
Enjoyed the video
great hunt congrats !
Nice job staying persistent.
This guy look like the brother of Steve from the Meateater show.
What predator call was that? Sounds good
Just subscribe to the channel I’m in for the long haul now ❤
Uh…was that bino harness built for shooting prs or hunting? I’ve shot prs for 13+ years and no one runs a harness. Cool idea though.
This was an awesome watch! Got my Tikka 6.5 out yesterday and was ringing some steel at 400yds. This makes me want to get out again asap!! Keep up the good work yall!
Great footage - thanks for sharing this with us 👍
I'm humbled to be a focus of this production. I first heard about Stone Glacier from a good friend and backcountry hunting mentor almost a decade ago. He told me about these lightweight, bombproof bags and after I wore one for a trip, I was sold. I'd continue to use all of SG's equipment as it came about, watching this company grow from pure passion into what we see today. The entire staff at SG is committed to excellence in everything that they do, and I'm proud to have witnessed their growth from the beginning. Many thanks to all of the support SG has given both me personally, and for Modern Day Sniper as a brand. We're stoked to be SG's go-to source for training with rifles; the animals we pursue deserve the absolute best we can deliver. -Caylen W. 🤘
400 inches of hunter orange required in Montana by hunters and guides. This elk should be confiscated. Try reading the regulations. You guys make the rest of us that do it right look bad. Should be ashamed of yourself.
Great video thank you! Would love to get this kind of coaching. I’m close marksmanship wise but honestly have no idea what I’m doing lol
Bought one of these, the bottom portion hangs straight down and doesn't hold the rifle secure. Junk buy something else 👎
So cool
Nice work boys!
Very curious on the rifle setups y’all are using now? Might go down the rabbit hole of PRS and build a custom rifle. What ballistics do you guys like using?
Lots of T3x's in KRGs wtih Nightforces. Can't go wrong with that set up.
Do I spy a black label bino harness on Lyle??
👀
I’ve been following along on this journey a couple of years now. I’m in the military and in the process of applying for a precision marksman position in part because I saw a Stone Glacier video of you guys hitting steel far away. Thanks for content like this
You got it! Thanks for watching, and thank you for your service.
💥💥💥
Great video 🤘
Awesome video and great reminder to put in the work. I can appreciate the fact that someone mentioned that the main reason why he went through the course is for the respect of the animal. As an eastern guy who doesn’t have to take long shots (sub 100 yards, usually under 75) I definitely need to get some training behind the trigger especially if I plan on doing a Wyoming mule deer 🦌 and pronghorn rifle hunt next year. Same thing this year with a muzzleloader for Utah general deer 🦌
What is the weight on thw rifles?
MDS & SG … wicked collab
Awesome video guys! Thank you.
What is the weight on those guns?
The average comp gun weighs between 16-20+ pounds. Hunting rifles are obviously different. Our guys' hunting guns range from ~9-12lbs.
@@stoneglacier9636 ok yeah from the video the guns looked like they were PRS weight guns ( maybe minus the clip on weights)
Great video! Learn learn learn and then Learn some more!
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 hell yeah rock on Velayo
This is a great video. Caylen and Phillip are awesome instructors . I hope Philip will be offering some training opportunities in the Cody area.
My RRS tripod changed everything about hunting for me. Cool to see you guys using one as well as other "precision" gear. Great crossover with MDS as well. I think Phil stepped away from it recently because he wants to be able to spend more time with his family. But Caylen is I'm sure a great guy too and I'd still love to take one of their classes. 19:10 a Foundation Centurion stock and a ZCO scope. Oh that man has GOOD taste.
Me too. RRS is amazing.
Thanks for more great content!
I was at the RRS warehouse buying my first tripod and got to meet Phil. And they asked me “how did you hear about us” and the answer was “Phil!”. Those guys are awesome and almost all of my marksmanship skills I have learned from them. Great video!
Thanks for the support!
Love it! Get some..
Awesome
What bag is that?
