    I absolutely love love love this video and agree 100%! I'm currently shopping for a home here in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. I would also add to the list the homeowners who have rooms that are locked and "off-limits", that no one is allowed to go into. I can't tell you how many private showings and open houses I've been to where agents have said to people, I'm sorry but the homeowner doesn't want anyone to go into the garage or this or that room because of valuable items. I also went to an open house in Santa Clarita where the homeowners left their 2 big dogs behind inside of a locked bedroom and no one was allowed to go in there because the dogs weren't friendly with strangers. Plus the dogs were barking very loudly and scratching on the door which which became very obnoxious. So myself and other potential buyers were not able to see the home and its entirety and couldn't concentrate because of the dog's. My advice to those type of homeowners would be take your pets with you, or to a doggy daycare for the day. If you have valuable items take them to storage, or a friend or family members house until your home sells. If you have potential buyers interested in your home they want to see the entire house not just parts of it. Also, if it hasn't been done already, paint the inside of the home neutral colors. It's such a turn-off when I walk into houses that have pink, green, and orange on the walls in the kitchen and other common areas as if someone was running a daycare center inside the home. People have to remember you're selling the home so having your favorite highlighter marker colors on the walls don't matter anymore. The last thing would be the houses that are empty no matter if they're a brand new build or the family moved out. No matter who owns the home a builder or private owner, if no one is living in the house send someone by to care for the property. If the property looks abandoned due to neglect, it's going to turn off potential buyers, making them believe that there might be internal problems with the home itself since it looks abandoned. Last but not least, allow your agent to have open houses, especially if the house doesn't have anyone living there.

      So true!! Sounds like you've had quite the house hunting experience! lol .... We tell the story all the time of an INCREDIBLE custom home, but everyone referred to it as the house with an orange wall. All because of one accent wall in 6000 sqft! Neutral colors and smells are so important.

    I loved the lifestyle presentation, but maybe add a little bit more to the master: the bathroom in particular, to see what it has. I don't even know if the master bath has a standing tub or if the master has a walking closet. Almost nothing about the other rooms. Taking into account how much you achieve in 8:39 I am sure you can do it with an extra minute. Keep the good work !

    Beautiful! I'm wondering, however, how Macmillan Ranch compares to the newer Robinson Ranch. Apart from the golf course at Robinson, are the houses comparable? Love your channel, btw!

      Hi George! Both are lovely neighborhoods, but it’s like comparing apples and oranges. Macmillan ranch is the only guard gated community, all the homes are on about 2 acres, and are custom. Most were built in the 80s/90s Robinson ranch homes are mostly about 1/2 acre, built in early 2000s, and only a few of them are customs. We’d love to answer more of your questions! Give us a call!
