No other artist in history has been more under appreciated and under rated for their art than Madonna. Maybe because of the buttons she pushed and how her controversies overshadowed her work. But at the core of Madonna are her songs and videos that are untouchable in the world of pop music in the past 40 years. One day, maybe when she's gone, she will be truly appreciated. I simply adore this tour. It’s such a a theatrical presentation, and whilst we love the classic Madonna hits, I think, at that time, it was amazing just to focus on the last two previous albums and let them shine… with a small treat of some oldies but not overloaded. This tour really holds a special place in my heart. The vibe, the energy, it’s like you’re at a theatre show meets concert as opposed just a ‘pop concert’ - well done!

I totally agree. I was a Freshman in college when this came out and I had absolutely loved 'Ray of Light' it was my Madonna awakening. Still my #1. But this is easily #2 - just, wow. All the lyrics. All of it.

"More than Just Friends" and "Standing Ovation" were always some of my faves from this album. Very very cohesive body of work. She´s such a tremendous lyricist. And of corse "Obssesed" was a total moment, and "Betcha gone know" and "Angels Cry" are indisputable.

Johnny, you must hear and review this song as the version Luther sang at the 19th NAACP Image Awards. The sound is much better, and Luther is actually better as he is serious and having fun at the same time. I would love to hear your review and see your reaction. By the way, I think his performance here is the best performance of that kind period.
