I looked it to a few options and decided the sportspal 16 foot was the best in weight and stability. At 77lb it can carry 1000 lbs great to portage a moose or any game.
The specifications on your website says 3hp max, yet these guys have a 5hp on the back? So if you put a 5hp on the back, you just can’t go full speed?

I own a Canyon and an Prospecteur 15 from Esquif. To me, T Formex is the best trade-off between durability, weight and price. If I was on the market for a large canoe like this one, I would have no issue going with the Cargo.

Looks like what today is called the Prospecteur Sport. At the time of this video it was known as the Prospecteur 16. Would be great if Esquif replied.

awesome boat, have one of the originals. great as a small tandem, solos beautifully, especially for a bigger guy. i even fish out of it on small lakes. great little river canoe.
does it balance well sitting or is it kneeling only? can you paddle it with a double bladed paddle?
@@theoutdoordad7395 quite comfortable to sit in as well. it's quite stable. not sure about double blade paddle, if it was long enough i don't see why not.
