As someone else said this isn’t the last week. WMR confirmed theyre staying until late september
Are they gonna have some kind of special celebration?(because they leave)
@@BrumRider There should be a farewell event next month or October
It isn’t the last week, they are staying until late september
😍
Great tram service! Even if this looks slow, I couldn't believe how quickly I arrived at Edgbaston Village after getting on at New Street
Haha know exactly where that is!
Will miss these amazing units
Was by it yesterday... Would love to buy it and restore it and hear it run again... Just seems a waste sitting there
Why?! Why youtube?! Please stop recommending uselessness!
Dislike button is for all year, not just for Christmas.
very cool place! nice video :)
No Lionel or Marx?
There was some lionels.
Hello brother, can you please share the location. I live in WV10 and would like to visit this location. -Thanks
Lower Horseley fields next to the canal.
@@BrumRider thanks a lot bro
If you follow the canal to north and east north you could find interesting places
What location are you at please? Amazing capture!
This is the Wolverhampton bypass near Fowler’s Park.
Nice
love the videography! could you tell the location!
Its near Jones road canal in Wolverhampton, UK
@@BrumRider thanks a lot, love your channel, have subscribed!
A bit faster maybe surely unless there is a speed limit for trams 🤔
احمقكبير😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yar Tax cattle Duhllars Herd at Wark!
Looks fantastic! Yes, it took longer than initially planned, but the end result is awesome! Onwards and upwards for Wolverhampton! 👍
great
How long is the extension
450meter, 300meter of it whiteout power cable.
They seriously need to get this up to Bearwood.
Looks like there was way enough room for the tram to pass.
@BrumRider Great video mate I just Subscribed to your channel and I was onboard this one on September 9th 2022
Very good
Could get a bus through that gap 😂😂
How does that tram not have wires ?
There is battery pack on the top of the first and last section.
In my country they also have trams with a section without rails. They use capacitors at the top of the tram and charge up between stations from between the tracks.
Maybe just learning. But, common sense doesn't come a miss either. As this rider doesn't know what common sense is. Needs to study the highway code more deeply!!!! Or at least find out where he can park legally without causing any obstruction no matter how minor it may seem. NOT!!! near tram lines. Or on Double yellows ......IDIOT!!!! Even i wouldn't do what this berk did.& never have. & i don't drive or ride sadly anymore due to health restrictions. But, i never would think of it. If i needed to park around the corner or away from double yellows & rails of any kind ( tram or train). I suppose some will think i am a know it all or some kind of smart arse. I don't care what others think. Just being sensible & safe & try to have respect for other types of traffic.
Its so sloow. Sltho to be said, you can almost see it breaking the magic 20kph at one point
Those are trams.
Yes, everybody knew, these were trams, but they called It west Midland Metro.
Learn difference: Tram can be a metro, Metro not must be a tram.
Reason it's called the metro, it's runs the majority of old railway line and short segments on streets
What has Birmingham City Council done to the city as it's a Disgrace? First of all they started with the Bullring shopping centre, and that looks like a glorified Greenhouse, and now this:and this is worse, and it will end up a white elephant as the General Public will Continue using the Trains to go from Wolverhampton to Birmingham
this one is a 196 197 have red body
Ah the trolley buses were better - no tracks - only issue was drivers veering over to far and the trolley poles would unattach from the power lines
I play all British tram videos at double speed, so I can pretend it's a proper European tramway, and not running at a snail's pace for fear of stupid people and lawyers. If only CZcams had a feature whereby you could make pedestrians look half their body size but with double the brain cell count, like they were before health and safety became a replacement for common sense and survival instinct.
I was thinking the same 12:00 really , I'm sure the trams in Brno and Ostrava zipped along
Must be weird to be so mad at the world.
i love trai
Nice
Well I s'pose you wouldn't end up doing a minimum wage job if you'd learned to use your brain. What a thicko!
Edgbaston Village? It's a bunch of office buildings at the top of Hagley Road...
The tram-only roads look nice, not just bland bitumen or concrete. Are cyclists allowed?
I don’t think so.
People ride on it anyway. Allowed or not. Who cares.
like the country, the level of common sense has deteriorated, all that pavement area and he wants to park a foot away from a live track
Edwin Turner - it's been painfully apparent since 2016. Strangely it coincided with the Referendum. People stopped engaging their brains......and started losing the plot instead. Now even basic common sense seems to evade many people. Along with civility, spacial awareness, and respect for others' property.
On double yellow lines, too (That means no parking, if you're a foreign reader and don't know UK road markings)
The tram driver should have smashed into the moped
I did not know that someone was recording me driving a tram :)
Does it matter
Crikey! It is too. By the way do you not use any flange lube?
This tram is like the same model in my country
CAF is a popular choice across the world, my home town also has the same model, but with a different front.🙂
Excellent video😃⤴️⤴️Fantastic steam train and beautiful scenery😉👍️✨Thank you for sharing :)
That '37' is a Class 40 actually.
That's happening when I uploaded a video at 11 pm.🙂
Well he did have an “ L “ on his fender which means he is just learning.
That just means they have a provisional licence. In the UK you can drive mopeds and motorbikes under a certain engine size without a full licence. Theoretically you could do this forever. Its not lack of experience, its just ignorance of best practices.
Yes same here in Saskatchewan. No driving after dusk and no passenger. That is why we call it a Learner’s License.
Nooo
if that tram driver cant get through there they shouldnt be on the road.
You're suggesting that the tram should pull out round him?
er.. but he's not "on the road" he's on a railway track . he has Right of Way and shouldn"t be expected to 'squeeze thru' gaps ..
And if you look on the road there are yellow dot safety markers marking out the safe distance from the tram where by vehicles should not be parked past these markers for safety, of which this delivery bloke has parked his scooter inside the safety zone.
That tram driver will be obeying his instructions: not to proceed if something is parked within the clear zone marked by the dots.
@@richardwoods5873 A delivery driver who obstructed the tram line in Croydon suggested exactly that. Duh. Then there was the young lady (again in Croydon) who parked foul of the line - two wheels on the kerb and two in the tramway - and returned to find that her car had been bounced off the track by bystanders, many of whom waited to enjoy her embarrassment on eventually returning to collect her car and ticket.
Why do they move so slowly?
Because it's in the city centre.
Cool, so it's much quicker in the outskirts? I've not tried taking the tram to Wolv...imagined it would take hours
@@chaitraomkar8802 it's much quicker in the suburbs because it uses an old train line, so it is separated from people or cars.
if thats slow you got to see manchesters (turtle speed tram line)lmao
I was trying to figure out what seemed “off” about this video. And then I realized it was not the video. It was just the first video I’d ever seen where it wasn’t a cloudy or rainy day in Birmingham. Seriously. Interesting trip, though. Thanks.
