The climate plans on either side of the 2020 US election are pretty nonexistent, depending on how serious you take the environment and the next 50 + years. I find it so ridiculous that other places in the world can get their hits together in some regard and push new measures that make protection against the Earth's climate crisis a requirement. It's not a question, debate, or personal feelings. People are either too selfish, too uneducated, or too unrealistic. For a country (the US specifically) that can't meet in the middle about simple topics like masks, with our system, I don't see us making the environment a priority in schools on tv ads, in conversation in regulations. It won't be through the masses; it just won't. America is all over the place about climate. How tragic is it? Sad enough that you laugh through the pain and frustration and try not to take it seriously.

An easy one: can we tag 2% of the Carbon Funds for youth lead actions? More and more adults are in survival mode and don't have time to learn about climate smart crops, animals, adapting their farms-farmland, etc. Youth may have more time and some are interested in all this, and some know what to do with the money, e.g. buld climate smart demo farms in their neighbourhoods where all these seeds and animals and techniques are demonstrated, where they can learn, have internet, and can take these seeds and animals back home so they get integrated in their families farms. How about this. The CER's - Certified Emission Reduction - certificates under the CDM - Clean Development Mechanism as per UNFCCC and traded over the ETS - Emission Trading System are seen as the world's first global currency. Why not put them in the basket of the SDR's - Special Drawing Rights which is maintained by the International Monetary Fund but that is now composed of only fossil economy currencies - the U.S. dollar, Euro, Chinese yuan, Japanese yen and Pound sterling - and would thus green the basket and bring it more in line with what really holds and represents value in our global economy. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_drawing_rights

I find interesting that the two case studies are dairy and wine making industries. To me they do not respond to "nutritious food for everyone" as they are not really a necessity of the human diet. They however have a big impact on climate change and it will be interesting to see how they mitigate that. Thank you
